i figured torres and bowles would win, perhaps even comfortably. but after seeing benevidez destroy torres, i started to rethink bowles vs. cruz. that said, i didn't imagine bowles would be thoroughly embarrassed. cruz made him look like a turd.
i think in gmro`s case,it`s probably more like ritalin abuse....:lol:
i can`t wait to hear the stories.....

I'm back. Had a great time.
Some notes on the event:
-Affliction and Tap Out t-shirts were everywhere. 5% of the people wearing them belonged in them. That was pretty amusing.
-Stood in line for a pretzel before the card went live, Forrest Griffin gets in line right behind me and the next thing I know I'm caught up in a swarm. I told him I liked his book....my integrity will never be the same.
-Brett Rogers, Gray Maynard, Forrest, Bonnar, Faber, Thiago Silva and Clay Guida were all in the crowd and relatively accessible. I didn't go for any pictures or anything, but I thought it was cool that they were all there and willing to mix it up with the meatballs.
-Sat in row M on the main floor. Really close to the action, but I still found myself looking at the big screens. It is just so much easier to watch the action on a screen than through a fence and around camera men. I did catch the 2 big KO's while watching the cage....that was wicked.
-These WEC guys are all midgets. The guy I sat with was 5'7" and he would walk up next to the fighters as they did there walk ins....he kept coming back saying "no way that dude is XXXXX ft tall". I wasn't too far away from them when they came walking in, and those dudes are just tiny.
Fights:
-Roop was completely fucking robbed. Garcia didn't win a round and wound up with a draw. Nice work judges.
-Mendes might be a great wrestler, but I'd rather watch my dog walk around the backyard then see this guy fight again. Worse than watching GSP.
-Bart over Karen. Very impressive turn. Bart was getting bludgeoned.
-Torres looked scared. WTF happened to him? I seriously considered putting 1/4 my bankroll on him tonight, then said fuck it and put nothing on him....glad I didn't make that play. I thought this was the slam dunk fav of slam dunk favs. Never would have imagined that midget could have lasted 2 rounds with him, let alone beat him. Unreal.
-Bowles better get a new hand or go back to selling Pepsi. He broke it on the first damn punch.

I was in elevator with Gonzaga and I thought he was small.....I talked to Torres for a good 5 minutes and I thought he was in Wizard of Oz. Bottom line.....on TV everyone looks bigger. Except for Brock.....I stood next to him and he was massive. But even a bigger asshole.

Thats the problem with those tall fkrs against short powerful wrestlers , they cant stop a takedown even if their life depended on it .
hahhahahahhaaha, I'm one lucky person. For some reason since it was the WEC I thought the fights would be on Sunday evening so I waited. Then this morning saw the results and laughed my butt off. I'm pissed I missed watching the fights but it saved me some coin so I can't complain. Hopefully I can find a site to watch a replay.
