Kick, you're weird feeling isn't correct this time. The WEC needs Aldo if he F's up Faber. Dana has already stated that he needs superstars in the WEC and that he would like to have more PPVs. There is no way you can have a guy crush your main division and then put him somewhere else.

For the record I think the fight is close. Faber got ko'd by Brown because he was stupid and cocky. I don't hold his second loss against him. Yeah he lost but he can't help having two broken hands. Faber has the speed to match Aldo and the one thing will get to see is if Aldo has a good sprawl or not. If not, he'll be on his back early and ofter. I don't see Faber messing with him standing up if he doesn't have to.

Bert, I don't see many if any people saying Faber will win. Most of the people I've seen say Aldo will KO him very quickly.

I say take Aldo by KO or Faber as a dog.

Argh, this is killing me. I really want to take a chance on Faber. I think he can match the speed of Aldo and I'm thinking(hoping) will be stronger in the clinch. At +255 I see value in Faber but for some reason I can't pull the trigger.


I guess I'll spend some time going back over some fights.

Brown wasn't himself in the fight with Aldo , I don't know if he came scared into the cage but thats not how he fights . Then he just gives up his back and gets pounded out .
Could easily turn out into Bowles vs Cruz type of fight where the champ is overrated by bookies cuz of few impressive showings . I believe like 8 out of 9 underdogs have cashed in WEC's big fights , some of them well into + 200 range like Benavidez over Torres , Bowles over Torres and Cruz over Bowles .
I don't think Faber will be fooling around here , maybe he can take Aldo down early and test his ground game + cardio .

this is the same faber that got literally dominated and bludgeoned by tyson griffin...
