I felt that pretty strong too! My totals have been so-so though, so trying to go heavier on sides. Should have trusted that a bit more.

I thought the Clippers were looking pretty good at halftime, but that is the nature of this game. Anything can happen, and that's part of the reason I love it. I have been playing big favs for the first halves instead of games, but went away from that last in the Clippers game, thinking that they may get a slower start being that it was their first home game. My bad on that one guys.

Oh well, profitable night - time to move on.

Cheers

Thanks Jack - for those of you that don't know, that great coach is my husband.

And yes, I did *force* him to become a coach, and he is really really good at it, haha.

Thank you sir - I don't expect everyone to load on the praise all the time, and I certainly have bad nights just like everyone, but I really do appreciate it.

Great community here!

Thanks again for the winning plays. I have a couple of questions though if you don't mind. It seems that in your picks, you rely heavily on angles. Are these angles that you have accumulated over the years or just by checking specific websites on a daily basis? Also, did you initially come up with them yourself and back check them or obtain them from some other place? Do use some sort of spreadsheet to continually keep track of the angles and adjust the records on them daily? It seems like you use many angles and that it would be difficult to continually keep track of them. Thanks in advance for your answers, I'm just trying to become a better NBA capper and figured I'd ask the best around.

pug - Don't mind at all. In synopsis, I have over 100 typed pages of angles that I have used this season. The majority of them are self-generated, a good portion are from what other people have shared, and recently a couple really good cappers on this site have shared some good ones with me. I do run them daily through a database that gives me the raw numbers, which is why it takes me a really long time to do my research (not posting where I run my numbers, as it is not allowed per this site). But, I find it interesting or else I would not do it.

For me, the most important thing is continually learning, especially from each loss. Now, sometimes there is nothing to be learned from losing, because you are on the "right" side, and it is just bad luck. But usually, you can learn a lot about why a play won or didn't win, and adding this to the angle for next time should sharpen it. For example, last night I posted "Finally, teams playing on the road on no rest that are coming off a home game are 2-17 SU (-10.8 ppg) and 2-17 ATS against rested opponents before the all star break (Toronto, Utah)", and Toronto and Utah both covered. So, now I go back and see why that angle was no good - was it the sample size, other mitigating factors, a complete fluke, etc., so that next time I will use or not use it again.

The more you can add to each angle, hopefully the better it will become over time.

Cheers

Passing on the games tonight...

Back after the all-star break, or may have some fun action bets during it.

Good luck

Happy just wanted to say THANK YOU for all of your great work. I have been tailing your plays for a month or so now and have made quite a bit of money. You are by far the best capper on the NBA forum. Even when your picks dont come in, your analysis is usually right on the money and I appreciate your in depth stats.

Quick question - any leans on either game tonight? Lebron getting +5 seems almost too good to be true. Also thinking the Clippers are going to handle the Lakers. No way Nash can defend either CP3 or Crawford, and Pau being out should give LAC a huge advantage on the glass. Please let me know what you think!
