just watched it. in all fairness, as someone who has pulled his hammy while running the bases far too many times, i'll say you can't just stop on a dime at that point. you're gonna hobble forward at least a few steps. he was toast no matter what he did.

playing so much baseball in cold conditions is just asking for problems.

my biggest futures bet this year is cleveland under 82.5, and i had the white sox today, so that would have been a nice win for sure.
