Isn't -260 a lot to be laying? You're talking Pedro Martinez/Randy Johnson territory here. Anything steeper than -160 usually isn't worth the risk. Not that I like the Giants tonight (I don't) but I'd lay the 7 before going -260.

I would take a football game over Randy Johnson any day. A good pitcher will see his team win maybe 75% of the games he pitches while NFL teams go 7-1 or 8-0 at home routinely. Check out the team records for Schilling, Johnson, & Pedro (obviously Clemens this year is the exception to the rule). At least a handful of NFL teams will have 75% or better win% at home.
