Spock is back .. .
very interesting day ..
1. my cell phone being pre paid has $3 left and when i make a call had warned me TODAY was last day. So i bought a $10 card so that I could put money on the phone today. I go to put the money on the card and check my balance and i get reply "You have 163 minutes left and $53 left on your card"
I go damn .. .. when did this happen .. called up customer service who confirmed my balance which is valid till feb 2003. ..
Called up a friend who works at Rogers .. the guy told me that sometimes customer service people when putting money into accounts for people put the money ON the wrong number .. hmm .. sounds good to me
Then go for Jays game .. couple of girlfriend's friends had never been to Jays game. Thought will take them out and since it was Toonie Tuesday $2 tickets things looked good.
When we entered the Skydome got handed forms by some people. FREE TICKETS FOR THE YANKEES-JAYS GAME IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED A TICKET TODAY. hmm .. looks good to me .
Ticket is the $24 ticket FREE.
So we move up to the 500 level. Ibanez slams the ball and it goes 5 feet from where I am sitting. By the time i could get up small kids were all around and got the ball. Appeared on the Big Screen and TV
Then after some time a Skydome employee walks up to us and asks me how many times we visit the Jays games. I said quite a lot of times. She hands me this form and says "Go to Gate 532 and pick up a FREE 1993 Jays World Series Finals Games Cassete"
hmmm .. sounds good so I go and collect it.
Left in the 10 inning with the game tied. One comment I would like to make is on the horrible play by the Jays. They shud have had the game over in 9. With bases loaded in the 10'th i think they bring in the guy SWANN who has never had a run batted in .. has one hit in his life .. against Kansas and strikes out looking with 2 outs .. what a fuxin bufoon .. BAD MANAGING ..
man on first and third ONE out .. the guy on first tries to steal and gets caught .. and no run scored .. etc etc ..
Thats it for today
Live long and Prosper
