west coast conf. totals getting hammered .......

this pepperdine total was at 154-155.5 at most spots.

olympic moved it up to 156. then the next move was all the way to 159.5. now its 160 there.

pinnacle is dealing an obscene 154 with -233 juice.

i was actually liking the over at 156 but this line move is ridiculous.



now the san francisco total gets smacked up from 143.5 to 148 at olympic. pinnacle has taken it off the board completely.

im not gonna bother with either of these. obviously, theres some shady shit goin on with both these games in the same conference on a very small card tonight.

just gonna wait until saturday, but will be interested to see if these astronomical line moves cash

not sure what the big deal is. totals move wildly these days in cbb.
i've seen 3-6 point moves in totals almost daily (not ALL totals, but one or two seem to move quite a lot).

books used to put up totals overnight or ealry in the morning.
now, except for CRIS, it's usually 5pm et before they hang totals.

i have to guess that books have been killed by cbb totals and they are a) hestitant to post totals and b) moving those totals rapidly when they get hit with money.

i could be wrong though

Pinnacle has decided in the last few weeks to keep the total stable while moving the juice. My take is that they are getting pounded on totals and they feel this will lessen the beating while allowing them to still advertise that they have totals for all CBB games.
