I was looking for a better day from Luke Donald than I'm getting. Birdied the first hole but followed that up with bogeys on five of the next six holes.

Hole 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Par 4 5 4 4 3 4 3 4
R 4 3 6 4 5 4 5 3 4

Padraig and Tiger is probably close to a toss up at this point. Of the 20 or so players that are probably too far back, the three that I think have the best chance to make a run would be Angel Cabrera, Oliver Wilson, and Mike Weir. However, it's really only a two horse race. I'll go with Tiger closing the 3 stroke gap to one but gets held off by Pad.

If Tiger is even money to beat Pod by more than 3 strokes, then that says a lot about Woods and golf. Padraig is the riegning player of the year, remember. That would mean Tiger is 3 shots better than anyone. Maybe he's only 3 strokes better when driving for the win and on Sundays only. The rest of the time he's 2 shots better. If that's all true, I don't think this situation, of being this many shots better than everyone, has ever happened in pro golf. At least in my lifetime, and I've been around awhile.

I actually think the best golfer to ever tee up a ball, wins this WGC event today. No place to bet it, but I would if I could.

REALLY frustrated with Luke. Perry is blowing up today, and i still will likely lose the bet :sadwave:
