What does it take to get you to join a sportsbook and stay with a sportsbook?

For US players I know this is difficult, but all I really want is to get money in easy and out easy. If someone can figure that out they probably get a lot of business.

The books probably can affect it somewhat as I've never understood that once I request a payout it takes days to approve only to be told they need more ID or something or they only approve them on certain days and then a payment processor takes 3-4 days to cut a check, etc...

Easy in easy out. Make it so.

If I told you that bitcoin was as easy as Neteller, very safe, and anonymous, would you be open minded to set it up? It only sounds difficult and a pain in the ass to those that don't know and understand, but once setup, it's as easy as Neteller. And, it's definitely the way of the future with sportsbooks. Once you are setup, so easy.

In all honesty, I'm usually one to catch on pretty quick to whatever the current online trendy thing is, but I can't figure out Bitcoin for the fucking life of me. Not only is it complicated as shit, but it looks like it's a market that could crash all of the sudden and bam, you're broke.

Ultimately the money ends up in your bank account as USD, right? So the idea of ultimate anonymity has got to be bullshit. Paper trail end in my bank account anyway so I'm not sure how they tout this as anonymous.

Edit= That sounded harsh, I'd love to understand it and make it work.

I was the same exact way but it's not complicated and needs to be explained the right way. The hardest part is getting it setup because that just doesn't happen in an hour or two. I'll be posting more on the process later and can even walk people through, but trust me, it's easier and more convenient than meeting the local bookie at the corner pizza shop.

It's not going to crash that fast and lose your money because you will only own the bitcoin for a matter of minutes if not seconds.

The anonymity is that nobody will know what the transfer was for and nobody will know it was for sending or receiving money for gambling purposes.

Try to answer this way. See above.

I don't understand bitcoin either. Although, I have never made an effort to.

I am getting older and no longer have the curiosity to figure it out.

If it came to do a shop that took my credit card vs one that took bitcoin I would be with the CC one.

Also important is payouts. No patience for the bullshit.

You understand the rollover is for people who take bonuses, right? I never took bonuses when Neteller was around because I could make a deposit today for a bet tonight and pull my money out the next day. I like this way of playing with a book vs bonuses. Since there are fees involved for sending and receiving money would a free payout every Tuesday only be something that would attract you?

I don't know what your laws are in Finland but you shouldn't have a problem with CC transactions from there?

You would not believe the fraud involved with CC transactions, it's incredible. It's really not BS, they just have to make sure they know who you are. Not to mention they don't receive your money the day you deposit either, because the CC transactions are all 3rd party. And the fees for a sportsbook taking CC's are ridiculous and the chargebacks they get are plenty. I think CC transactions are definitely going to something that will not be available at all in the near future.

I agree CC fees and fraud make them a non viable option, but aren't there insanely high fees WE pay to use Bitcoin? Like 10-15% to make a transaction?

Again, I'm in the dark here, but seems I have read that the end user is the one taking a beating on fees, both in and out.

I'm not an expert *YET* ( I will be soon) but I understand the fees are next to nothing. I guess getting the money from the exchange back into your bank account but that's just normal bank wire fees. I'll be polished on every angle soon.

Help me out Jack since you seem to understand this. If I open a Bitcoin wallet today:

1. How much will it cost me to purchase a (1) Bitcoin?
2. How much is it actually worth?
3. How much would I get in a sportsbook account if I deposit the entire Bitcoin?
4. If I take no bonus and make two equal +100 wagers, go 1-1 and withdraw the money to Bitcoin and send it all to my bank account how much would I ultimately end up with?

Jack do you use bitcoin for sportsbooks? I definitely am interested but like most others I don't know much about it and normally, what I don't understand I stay away from. If you can explain everything on here maybe some of us will convert.

You don't have to buy a whole bitcoin, you can buy $5 worth. I think they can be divided up to 6-8 decimal points.

Buy $1000 worth, put it in your wallet, send it to Bookmaker, they put $1000 USD in your account. Break even, withdrawal $1000 from Bookmaker, get $1000 back in your exchange account. Regular bank fees to transfer it to your bank or leave it in the exchange in USD. I use to leave my money in Neteller but when I finally did withdrawal, I took a FedEx check for $11 charge.

I'm sure there are people that know more about this than I do. Feel free to chime in and correct me at any time.

I will be an expert by mid July and I'll be able to walk you guys right through even if it means a phone call. I can explain things better verbally rather than in type.

It's really simple and you'll be mad you didn't do it months ago.

None near me but they have bitcoin ATM's Once you have a wallet, you go to the ATM, pay cash, send to your wallet, send to sportsbook. ATM fees apply and are prob 5%-6% that I'm sure most books would pick up.

I guess the very first part I don't understand is where you buy $1000 worth of Bitcoin for $1000. It SEEMS to me that $1000 worth of Bitcoin currently costs MUCH more than $1000 through an exchange, or is there somewhere else to get them? Forget Ebay, Looks like the current value of (1) Bitcoin is $640, on EBAY you can buy HALF of a Bitcoin for $394 and the are selling well at that price. So, I have to pay $788 for a Bitcoin that is worth $640.

I'm assuming when I deposit that Bitcoin in a sportsbook I get the current value in USD which is $640 so I am already behind $148. Assuming it doesn't change in value and I don't pay any fees along the way I'm already 19% behind the line.

Beating the 10% juice is tough enough.
