I’ll tell you, it sucks that Putin started this war. But what we have to do is structure a plan for peace from here. There is no winning back the territory you’ve lost. Certainly not gonna happen without costing thousands and thousands of lives, and billions and billions of dollars.
In a perfect world relative to the russia invasion, Trump would’ve won in 2020 and Putin would not have invaded Ukraine. Unfortunately, Putin struck when he knew he could.
Unfortunately, where things are, Ukraine, Europe and the USA have very few options. It’s time to trade some “disputed “ land for long term peace. The US will align itself with Ukraine, and the US will pseudo align itself with Russia. The new path forward will be stronger than ever alliance between Europe in the United States, along with the previously mentioned pseudo alliance with Russia.
Believe me, it’s not ideal. But continuing to spill blood and spend money doesn’t make any sense. This is particularly the case because Putin is a sick motherfucker. We corner that dude, there’s absolutely nothing to say he won’t push it to the next level. Absolutely no one sane wants that.
