what ever happened to pay toilets?

In Mexico they make you pay some places to take a dump you have to pay for toilet paper. I nearly crapped msyelf trying to find exact change in pesos. Think it was only a marginal shart.

I forgot about that. I was at a bus station in Mexico and there were two men's rooms. An attendant stood at the entrance of the nice, clean restroom that had toilet paper and soap. I paid up because I didn't want to chance the free restroom. :scared
The only coin operated bathrooms that I have ever seen in my life had floors full of piss. The whole bathroom was the urinal. Only people who were desperate not to shat themselves and wanted paper would pay the dime.

I put alot of new airmen in service in
late 80's and early 90's. They traveled by
Greyhound, always gave them 10 dollars
and 5 dimes. All the stations had them.
As a matter of fact, the station in Greenville
S.C. still has them.

They stil have pay toilets in Rome. I was there about two month's ago and they were in the train station. They have a person monitor both bathrooms.
I think it was .70 EU to use it, you paid and a big glass door opened up. The worst part about it is the station opens at 4:30am, but the bathrooms don't open until 6am
