Glock 27 - known as the back up or the "Baby Glock".

it's a .40 S&W and is easy to carry and I can conceal it pretty well if I feel I want a .40 on me. I often use this as a trail gun when I hike in the woods. We see bears on the trails we hike.

Dude... that would so just piss off the bear. Think bear repellent spray is more effective... at least that's what they say on the nature channel.

I'm actually in the market... had few shotguns over the years for duck/pheasant but been interested in handgun. Any opinions on the variety that fire both 45 and 410 gauge shells?

Yes,

I wish CA wasn't such a pansy ass state and I could own one...here.

Taurus has the original model, the Judge,

Smith and Wesson is in production with the Governor

A lot of people say the Judges aren't an ideal weapon for self defense. Do a google search on that gun, and I'm sure you will find many discussions on it. It may not be the best, but I know I wouldn't want a face full of buck shot from 10 yards away. The governor is new to the market, but I'm sure if S&W makes it, it is a good gun.

Go to a gun store and see if they sell them. My bet is they do in IN.

Indiana Gun Laws Search

Most Places online have you put in your zipcode to see if the weapon can be sold and shipped to you to you.
