Why should I not have the opportunity, or have to scour 5 accounts(all with similar lines) to play the team I like because of an absurd vig. That is windfall profit in my book.. a ripoff !!!........THE POINTS make the game relatively even.......thus -110 is the ABSOLUTE and has always been the ABSOLUTE MAX....anyone in his right mind would pay...Too much on one side....adjust line........ Offshore competition should cut into that -110

I like the old KISS principle. I know if the odds are 110/100 that I have to win 52.38% to break even assuming same bet size every game. Nit-picking I know. You always track your units +/- anyway but still I just think its hard enough trying to figure out who will cover the spread without THEN having to figure out whether the money odds are worth the risk on top of that too.

YOU SEE HERE IS THE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH PINNACLE AND THESE OUTRAGOUS PRICES.EVERYBODY IS ALWAYS SAYING HOW SHARP PINNACLE IS SO WHEN YOU SEE THEM MAKING YOU LAY -150 ON A SIDE YOU FIGURE THEY KNOW SOMETHING SO YOU HESITATE TO TAKE THE UNDERDOG.A COUPLE OF TIMES PINNACLE F-CKED ME UPLAST SEASON WHEN THEY MADE A TEAM -140 SO I CALLED MY LOCAL BOY AND LOST. :cursin: FINALLY I SAID THERES NO WAY I AM LOOKING AT PINNACLE ANYMORE THEY WILL PLAY GAMES WITH YOUR MIND AND I THINK THEY DO IT ON PURPOSE.JUST TRY AND FIND A SPORTSBOOKS WHOSE LINES ARE PRETTY CONSISTANT IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE IN TODAYS MARKET THERE SEEMS TO BE A TREND TOWARDS GOUGING.

Already been said......do business with the books that offer fair odds or keep an account with the gougers and play the dogs and take the extra juice, try to set up middles and scalps....
Overall if bettors stick with the shops that play fair and leave the bad ones the offshores will get the message....losing customers to better run shops keeps control of the matter...

talk about a "blockhead". you don't know what you're talking about and i am older than you and was betting when you were still popping pimples in the 9th grade. pinnacle has a dime line for football and your -110/-110 is a 20 cent line. who is gouging? look at the totals too, blockhead -105/-105 and you want -110/-110?
