Social drinker. Never drink alone. Very rarely drink at home. My wife likes a glass of wine a day. I drink either coffee, water or tea.

When I do have a few drinks I am a friendly drunk.

Seeing as how I am ALWAYS the DD I rarely drink. Of course two fuzzy navels and I'm halfway under the table. I drink maybe 1 Smirnoff Ice at home once or twice a month- a case could last me a year. Usually every other Tuesday night after bowling we stop with the boys from another team and I have 1 fuzzy navel. Once a year I might get a good one tied on and then I end up being sick for three days. Last time it was at a bowling weekend out. I had about 10 Smirnoff Ices in about 2 hours and ended up sleeping in a bathtub with no water in it for hours until I could crawl to the bed without everything spinning. (he came in to check on me and figured I was good because there was no water so there was no way I could drown). Then I got up in the morning and between being sick and trying to checkout of the hotel on time it was a nightmare. Drove home (hour car ride in the hot sun) with a migraine and slept the rest of the day- didn't feel good for 2 days after that yet.

I drink early, often and a lot. Dozens of bottles of wine a week; at least two bottles of whiskey a week and several cases of beer also.
And that's during the week. I get busy on the weekends....:mj07:

Nah, not even close.

Drink micro brewed beer-- no mass produced swill for me--while bowling league every Wednesday night.
Have a glass or two of red wine nightly unless I'm already drinking beer.
Fine Whiskey-- no shitty blends -- always neat-- I cringe when I see people mixing good whiskey with anything, including ice.
Don't drink any other hard liquor, but used to in my younger, wilder days. [emoji41]

I like mixed drinks of rye

can hold my liquor with the best of them....

Im almost certain Templeton Rye is not yet available in Arizona, Al, but if it is try it.
Have seen it available at caskers.com if you are so inclined.
Smoother than a baby's ass and very tasty.

It was Al Capone's favorite whiskey.

Read all about it here:

Got curious and did some research-- it's distributed nationally now. You can find it in Scottsdale at second story liquor bar....:toast:

I've never understood this. What does it matter to anyone what anyone else likes to drink? I've always felt you should drink what you like, regardless of what anyone else may like.

If I like to drink whisky mixed with horse shit why should anyone else care? It's not good whisky going to waste if I like to drink it that way.

I drink a blended whiskey and am pretty happy with it. Does that make me wrong? Maybe, but I enjoy what I drink so I guess it doesn't matter.

No where in what you quoted-- or anywhere else in my reply-- did I say anything about giving a fuck how you drink your whisky. I merely said it makes me cringe because I can't stand masking the taste of my whiskey with anything, including water.
Drink whatever you makes you happy; just don't expect me to buy you a round of Black Velvet at a future Super Bowl party....:mj07:
