I know very little about Rum, but in the summer I do enjoy a Mojito outdoors in downtown Royal Oak. All of downtown Royal Oak's restaurants and bars have outdoor seating for dining and drinking. Very touristy in the summer months.

I really like Southern Caribbean Rum. Here are a few of my favorites:
Went to all-inclusive resorts to Aruba and Antigua and drank these. Took a few bottles home of duty free for myself. Very tasty in cocktails, coke, or straight up.
