Heading to Tough Mudder Philadelphia bright and early in the am. Signed my death waiver but hopefully it's not put into effect. LOL Meeting another MJ'er who's on my team who's from out Philly way. Supposed to be a heat advisory tomorrow so thankful there are multiple water obstacles on the course. 10-12 miles with 22 military obstacles all in the mud!

PAChicky- You go girl! Hope it went well, and ya kicked some ass. Let us know how ya did!

Hedge- No game this weekend-they played, but we didn't wanna spend 30 bucks for tickets..
Husband golfs, I suck..but we do love to go out with a few beers and play around. We will have to do that soon, thanks for the idea! -and if you could bring me some brewskies if you're ever in my state, you'd be a peach :)

Sportsaholic- WHY doesn't that surprise me, honey? ;)

Betone- Don't have too much fun. We just moved into a new house as well, and having it all unpacked and put away is NICE. Good luck!

Ryson- The polygamy porter is where it's at! Their brewery is in Park City on main street, and one of my favorite bars. Never have tried the Devastator, but I'm gonna. Thanks for the post!

I survived! 96 degree heat and HELLISH hills spread out over 12 miles. Took us a little over 4 hours to finish it. They said this was one of the toughest courses they designed. It was on a farm and the paths were carved out of the hills and woods. They hauled a lot of people off for heat exhaustion and a few broken bones. I posted pics and videos on my Facebook page. We ended up walking almost the whole thing because the one guy in our group was lagging behind. Otherwise the other guy and I would have ran most of it and finished faster. I did 21 out of 22 obstacles and I should have done the one I skipped after I was told it wasn't that bad- but we were done at that point. I crossed it off my bucket list. The next thing I'm doing is our annual 4Th of July 5k here in town and then in August I think I'm going to do a Warrior Dash in the Poconos. That's only 3.32 miles and I looked at the obstacles and they aren't as hard as these were so that shouldn't be so bad. I'm a little sore today and a little bruised but nothing is broken so it's all good. :)

I attached a google map of the course and the elevation so you get the gist of what we did on Saturday :00hour
