Capped @ $200 on a total????? Sounds like a software problem unless you have been beating the ever living hell out of them. Hell if you want to get down more just call them they will give it to you.

Some people have argued that if Pinnacle is the only place you can get a certain line it might make sense to not make the bet.

In baseball and in some hoops I view extreme Pinnacle lines as another valued opinion on a game. They have an opinion. Their opinion is reflected in the line. They are often right.

This is not to say that it can not be overcome, but their opinion is valuable.

I used to have that same "Mental Block" with Olympic, and I'm not sure if it was a mental block or if I was playing the games they wanted me to play. I got over it, but I did lose money before I got back on the positive side.

Sportsbooks do everything for a reason. The games are lined up in a certain order on purpose. The game on top is there for a reason (if the games start at the same time). I would not be surprised if Pinnacle was teasing people to play certain lines. Almost all sportsbooks do that for NFL.

Does anyone know a sportsbook that will continue to pay you if you continuously win?

just a couple of things guys. This may have been mentioned somewhere above but if not here goes-if you really believe that pinnacle has by far the sharpest lines why don't you use it to your advantage by playing the other side somewhere else for the best price you can get? As far as books for baseball goes 5dimes offers a nickel overnight line in their prosition page. You can't parlay these and there is a $500 limit which is more than enough for almost anyone here. They also have 5 inning lines, 1 1/2 run lines both ways and usually offer 2 or 3 over under lines on the same game.

exactly lakerfan and sports student!

exactly lakerfan and sports student!

that's the obvious thing to do if Pinnacle is doing what I mentioned.

Those "excellent" lines that beat you doesn't defy logic, it makes perfect sense. And sharp bookies have done this since time immemorial.

I'll explain it with an example. (seems no-one understands my comment).

I knew a local that booked 12 straight winning MLB totals from a pimply college freshman. Investigation reveals he was a beard for a well-known wiseguy ( he was placing pics for a real sharp bettor).

Bookie wanted to eject him immediately. But sharper ones told him to cut kids limits down, take all his action. Then shade your lines to make the line opposite of this wiseguy's pics ever more attractive to other bettors.

you then make money on the vig, and on the lopsided action you are booking (gambling with) the wiseguy--fooling all these bettors that you have a soft line, when you know it is a strong one 'cause this wiseguy is beating you black and blue with his bets.

happens all the time, every city. But big bookmaking operations generally don't wanna gamble at all, but live off the vig and terrible money management of bettors.

Sorry if you don't believe me Antonio, but it is a fact. Run a search on VIP and Wall Street (who is owned by VIP) over at the RX. I am not the only one. Also, in my neck of the woods, it is not polite to call someone a liar unless you know all of the facts.

It all depends. If he was chasing steam and or not getting cross action on his plays then maybe he did get booted. You have to realize many of the plays you feed into there Antonio where games that they where heavy on the public side. You just went in there and evened out there action a bit.
