Not intentional, just a burp or something.

I would have been right there with Cow and the rest of the early numbers but I was in Europe at the end of July 1999 when Jack made the switch. I came home to an email asking me to sign up at the new forum.

Thus, my sign up date of 8-3-99 and the #104

Quite a few were around even before 99. I started with that wagertalk forum software then went to UBB and finally settled on vBulletin in 99.

Didn't we first cross paths on an AOL posting board you started? Think that was 96 or 97--right after I bought my first computer and signed up with AOL. The dial up days when you sat down, signed on then came back in 15 minutes hoping you got connected. :mj07:
Had a nice group of some good handicappers until AOL banned you for running a gambling board and then it was off to bigger and better things....:00hour

AOL had a 3 strike system. My first 2 strikes were for using profanities on the message board and the 3rd was for trying to line up a Superbowl party. The Shrink was the guy who had me banned, the prick. I was paying over $1000 a month for AOL and my phone bill because I had to dial up long distance to connect because I lived out in the sticks. Fun times :0003
But good memories.
