Don't want to admit it but I've been at Flushing Meadows to see tennis
If Cathy wants to go I can't say no but at least I had better seats.
As far as that young douche he should lower his profanity and not be heard by everybody.
If it was a baseball , football or hockey game then he will not be a big factor.

f-ck everybody...if you`re happy,i`m happy....:0074

That's kind of my thought process, weasie. But no, she wasn't a huge hit with my mom, two sisters, two nephews and two nieces. At times I have felt guilty about taking any of my random girlfriends over to the other coast to meet my family. For the most part, none of it has gone well. I've pretty much decided that it won't be happening again.

has the collective intelligence in this forum suddenly dropped below "moran" on the idiot scale?...

do you really think this woman and old man attacked this douchebag on a whim?...

didn`t you hear the rest of the crowd screaming "get him out of here"?..

it was a tennis match...people were there with their wives and children...and this douchebag degenerate was tossing the "f" word around and being a general nuisance.....god knows for how long before the lady got up the nerve to approach him...

she shouldn`t have slapped him,i agree...would have been better is one of the younger men approached him(but it was a tennis match and obviously, testosterone was in short supply).......or better yet, would have been nice if the venue actually had real security...

could have saved the women, children and old men the indignity of dealing with this inconsiderate simpleton...

i`m wondering if those defending this piece of dogsqueeze are of like mind...maybe this is accepted behavior in mixed company for them?...

Wow... who is the moron who doesn't even know how to spell Moron?? You moron!

The collective intelligence here is probably a lot higher than the collective intelligence of the idiot fans who were screaming to 'get him out of here' and saying nothing about how he got slapped and refrained from doing anything, then he got tackled and still refrained. Like I said earlier, the kid WAS a jackass, but you can't go around hitting people every time you don't like how someone is acting.

If they had any intelligence or decency, they would have alerted the proper authority and dealt with it civilly and non-violently.

Two wrongs don't make a right. And to defend these IDIOTIC monsters who attacked this guy is downright moronic.

Yeah, yeah, I get the irony part. I want to know what PPabart thinks of the post. The deriding me was fine, but I am still shocked that their actions are being defended. I placed blame on them, and actually the fact that all the people in the crowd were screaming to get him out, made it even more clear to me how wrong the old hag and the stodgy old man were. People are idiots. It's not their fault in most cases, but that is a discussion for another time.

My point remains... the real "idiots" here were them. That doesn't mean he isn't an asshole or a jackass, but from the point of the video on to the end, they were certainly 'more' at fault.

Well when I go to a sporting event, I go to see the action on the court and not have to deal with childish antics like these people.
If she had a problem with his language then she should have asked him to be quiet once then she should have went and got security and the people around would have said yes he is being rude and needed to go.

I am trying to watch something I paid money to see and I am not getting involved in that crap unless it was in front of me and forced my hand.

Judging by his friends reaction to the whole deal this is not the first time this guy has gone over the line.

I agree Kegray. IF the kid was carrying on, then kick him out. Or at least give him a warning first. But, that does not make the unsolicited violence OK that was perpetrated by the old people. And that is my point.

To hear the kid get blasted (which he probably should, but we don't even know what had happened from this video alone) and the violaters get cheered is the part that makes me question "the collective intelligence" here.

I thought the most amazing thing about the video was the fact that he laughed off the slap.

And he should have been tossed only and they should have been arrested.

Also everyone keeps referring to this as a "fight". A fight means both sides are attacking each other.
Show me one instance where the guy attacks.
He gets slapped, kicked, grabbed, and then punched by the women. Others even come up and grab him.
He never threw a single thing.

As said the guy may have been a cursing loud mouthed douchebag but he was not the violent one.
The one guy with the camera rolling tells him "I got your back dude." :142smilie

He saw what was up.

As if my opinion matters...but since everyone has one....here's mine. I defend none of the sides. The young guy there shouldnt have been acting a fool. Evidence suggests he was cursing and probably making a major nuisance of himself. If you've ever paid money to be at a sporting event, you've probably encountered this type of person and just wish they'd shut the fuck up. Then there's the woman. She should never lay hands on anyone. And by making a spectacle of herself, she's in the wrong too. And the old man is definitely in the wrong for taking things to an even further physical level by attacking the younger guy. What SHOULD have happened is this.....if the older couple had a problem, they could have asked the guy politely to tone it down. If he told them to fuck off...which he probably would have....then simply go notify security and have them deal with it. And speaking of security....they sure showed up to the party late, didn't they? So in my opinion......EVERYONE (the young guy, the woman, the old man, and security) are all in the wrong in some way, shape or form.

I think that you are leaving out the obvious solution.
Just call Roy Williams and he will get the guy tossed in a matter of seconds.

Agreed, agreed, agreed.

The opinions on here matter to me, especially from the admins, to at least restore some of my faith in humanity that we know the difference between right and wrong, and don't encounter more of the mob mentality that the old people and the other audience members who attacked the kid have. I am a seeker of the truth and i enjoy defending it against the "obvious." In this case, it seeemed obvious to most on here to criminalize the punk kid and defend the old people, when it should have been the other way around (to some extent. like I said, the kid was PROBABLY a jackass, but we don't even know that for sure).

As Kegray said, this dude showed unbelievable restraint in not coming back at anyone, including the people who jumped on him after he got up from the old man taking him down. This kid may have been inapproriate, drunk, and annoying, but was the least of the criminal behind as PP mentioned, security and the people.

This struck a chord with me because it speaks to the mentality that too many people have which is to go after the easier target and believe bullshit propaganda than to seek the truth.

exactly...this is why bart is...well,bart...:toast:

what was interesting is that no one here saw the beginning....so everyone is basically talking without knowing exactly what precipitated the whole issue...of course,we`re basically just giving our opinions...nothing wrong with that...

also interesting was the fact that after being brutalized:SIB by the woman and the old man the crowd was basically all screaming for security to remove the kid...

how strange is that?...what`s wrong with those people?..

pretty much gives you an big clue as to who precipitated the whole chinese fire drill..
