i know why guys are hating on him,but i still think hes a superstar...3 get back block shot get on off,deman the ball back drain another 3...mins left do or die.= superstar imo

dirk just won that elimination game by himself...that is a SUPERSTAR..not the best of the nba superstars,but definatly part of that elite group of players.
you no what ,i think the haters of dirk are 100% wrong..they had a few solid reasons but in the nba teams that make it to game 7 of the finals,have over 50 wins year after year all have atleast 2 superstars..dirk is doing this alone......and according to the haters hes not a superstar???so how does a team without a superstar make it to game 7 of the finals and win over 50 year after year???AVERY jonson? i dont think so.
dirk has played like crap the majority of the time in his past 9 playoff games.
he got bailed out tonite with some 3's, other than that he played below average tonite.

Moe im not a Dirk hater i just think he is overratted. I guess you missed his three turnovers before he hit those threes? To me a superstar can play both ends. He had a great block but his overall defense is pathetic. Everyone will remember those threes but i watch the whole game, and they might not needed those threes if he didn't throw a terrible pass and then have the ball stolen from him. You have to call a spade a spade here. A superstar takes over and he wasn't even shooting till the very end. I see Mcgrady shutting people down and a banging offensive game. That to me that is a superstar. Wade is a superstar and right now i don't think James is a superstar either.
JJ check out a tape of that game. He had three terrible turnovers in the fourth quarter. Ijust dont understand people who take out two minutes of a game and think the guy did a great job.
yeh,the last 2 minutes of an elimination game ,down by 8..a superstar takes over at this time ,not the 1st 3 q.he did his job,,thats when most players cant and wont even try to get it done....lebron is very good..hes may not be superstar to you,,,but if you put all the players in a pool right now EVERY GM IN THE LEAGUE would pick him 1st...but hes no superstar

he let his team blow a 21 point lead and see a 9 point deficit and elimination staring them in face as he took 2 shots.....TWO shots.....the entire 4th quarter, until he finally actually SHOT THE BALL and made some threes and ft's in the last 3 mins......great 3 mins, but actually a horrible first 21 mins in the most important half of basketball.....plus he's a stiff on defense......a nice player but not a player i'd build a team around.

dallas chose to build around him and have had as many wins than anyother team....trust me theyre not the top team in the league everyyear b/c of terry & stackhouse
It's funny to me that you mention Dallas is the "the top team in the league every year".
we'll there are about 15+ players i'd rather take to start my team over dirk......dallas has a good team concept with a bunch of good players, dallas isnt a good team because dirk carries that team.

exactly my point..imo if you think hes the 16th best player in the leauge,,lets say TOP 15 PLAYER in the league hes is a SUPERSTAR.not an all time great and not the best of the best.hes a superstar in the league today....id say there are about 20 in the league and hes one of them..thats the point im trying to make here....
and yeh sponge i saw the whole game,it looks like thats all youve seen..ive seen about 100 of his games in the last couple years.and hes a superstar in todays nba...we may have diffrent interpertation of what makes a superstar,actually we obviously do if you think king james is not one of them.you my freind are a hater
more wins than any team in the last 5 years.and they play in the west.(thats funny).id say theyre one of the top teams in the nba and that they have a superstar..and if its not dirk its no one else on that team,so according to some of you a nba team can have more wins combined than ant other team in the last 5 years without a superstar??i dont think so,not in the nba.
Not sure Moe caught the first half. Maybe if Dirk spent less time flopping he could do a lot better. Every time he drives to the net he looks for a foul and 90 percent of the time no one touches him and he falls on the floor.
