I had nothing to do with his ban. Only hedgehog was involved in hedgehog's demise on this site.

Hedge was banned from one thread. ONE THREAD. Many people have been banned from a thread for disrupting it. I think The Boys is the all time leader for being banned from a thread but is followed closely by Joker. :142smilie
Anyway, he flipped out on me and told me that he was leaving the site after the Hippo contest was over. So, to make it easy for him so he wasn't tempted to post (since he was leaving anyway) I banned him from everything BUT the Hippo Contest.
Then we exchanged a few "fuck you" "fuck you too" emails.
He's gone now.
So, for now on if someone asks me about Hedge, my reply will be "Hedge who?"
This reminds me of the miserable employee that comes in and says he's giving me his 2 week notice. My response to that is; "I don't need a notice, leave now. You're fired"
That's what happened here and he's lucky I didn't ban him from the Hippo Contest too. He sent me a few emails that tempted me to, and I have the right to, and he's leading the contest comfortably. If he continues with the nasty emails, I'll just ban him from the contest too. :SIB

Just out of curiosity, did the said employee file for unemployment? A few of my friends that own small businesses have had similar things happen to them. Get a bad employee, gets fired or quits and never shows up, and then files for unemployment.
Also, they have said the State always sides with the employee and gives them the unemployment. I know businesses (large and small) have unemployment insurance. However, I've heard this can really put a drain on cash reserves. That could be expensive.
Just what I need if I decide to start a company....ugh.....

I've only had that maybe 3 times with 2 happening in the early 80's and back then people got a job after they left. Most recently was back in 2012 and technically he quit by giving the notice and when I got the form from the state to fill out, I told them he quit. That was the last I heard.
Figures. Probably brought up the ol' i've given you thousands to your sponsers so I should be able to do anything angle just like idiot fans at sporting events.
