If you're coming down here to Jaco, let me know. I don't know much about Atenas other than some expats like its location, 20 minutes to the Central Valley and a little under an hour to the beach. Also, it's at a little higher elevation so it's a little cooler, not sure about 80 though. Mid to high 80s is more like it. I've been to Atenas a couple of times but there doesn't seem to be much of a town.

Yeah, I lean to higher elevations/cooler temps and I want to be closer to the sportsbooks and San Jose. I think. LOL See what happens next week. Thanks.

When u retire do you want to live away from civilization like 20 miles from town or nearest grocery 90 miles to a DR....21/2 miles on a dirt road to ur living quarters...No people no bars no casinos. no restaurants .. just a deer or bear in the clearing in front of your house...or in the middle of Florida 20 miles to an Aldis {Gag}..
