I don't have Amazon Prime and refuse to get it just to watch Thursday nite NFL. Haven't watched a Thursday nite game in 3 years

we have netflix... i'll have money on the games... and still no chance in hell i'm watching them. i can't stand watching the nfl except on redzone. and i really hate watching sports on streaming. haven't watched a single thursday night game this year, and it's been nice. oddly, i've had better success on the thursday games than i usually do. probably a coincidence.

rooting for the ravens. i bet them to win the division after week 1 or 2, when Nolan Dalla suggested it. so a baltimore win and a pittsburgh loss would be nice.

Magnets? Yes! Still do. Watch some of the movement on field goals. But whatever. I just try and give myself something. I don't bet on who I think the better team is, I bet on what I think the narrative is and/or if it looks like a lot of money on one side then I go the other etc.

A lot of it looks like we're watching movies. Even the announcers will often use the word "script". They tell us what they're doing. How do you script the first 15 plays of a game w/o knowing Down/Distance, etc. But it is what it is. I've done well in college football this season, NFL not so much.

not just his salary.. how these teams gonna pay their QBs 200-300 mill for 5 yrs??
I know Amazon pays 100 mill a yr to the league to televise 1gm / week on Thursday, not sure how much Nflix is paying.. too much I'm sure.

On the other hand...

why don't u guys have Netflix and Prime?? are u still watching cable for $200/mo? CBS, ABC etc?

Apple TV, Nflix, Prime are the best 'streams' to watch, the best shows n movies

I cut my Spectrum Cable a few yrs back, save over $100/mo and get better shows... YouTube TV gets me all the basic stuff and like 5 ESPN channels too.. Big10, ACC, NFL, Golf

get off the 'Law n Order' re-runs and step up lads, you'll be surprised how much there is worth watching..

I did take Ravens -5' in my season long contest with graffin. I think as long as Harbaugh doesn't fuk it up. Ravens have some serious motivation to win. Texans win or loss doesn't matter and they are without their best WR's. Now the line has gone to 6'
I'm cautiously confident they get it done today.

In home TV markets, the NFL has a rule that games that are on Netflix and Amazon Prime must be shown on local channels. Obviously, this doesn't help those who live outside of the home team market who don't have either of these streaming services.
