Apparently, the dry cleaners by me don't do that. They say they only DRY or steam clean and have handed those sweaters back to me. Although, maybe I need to ask at a few other different dry-cleaners.

It should also be noted that, as I live in Southern California, the motivation level isn't all that high to get my wool sweaters cleaned. Another year in the closet won't make much of a difference to me :0002

Yeah....okay so this really creates a dilemma for me. I really dig your posts, and consequently you. Surprisingly, I'm truly struggling with what I have yet to embrace as a character flaw that may require some attention or comportment that I'm not quite comfortable with to not simply reply with "Gay", when it comes to hanging your clothes and such.
I generally pack everything in at once, dry on heavy duty and immediately throw onto the guest bed where they stay until I wear them.
It's not that there is any real argument to the fact that, "fag or gay" is absolutely the proper response. I think might be that I'm slightly concerned that someone other than ourselves may mistakenly misinterpret my intent.
Other than that, nice laundry habits......I loved you in "Sweating to the Oldies". Lol.

Mine are all hung as well, with the exception shorts. Color coordinated, not so much. Any hanger will do. I just don't have even an ounce of Type A in my body. Sometimes wish I did.
I break the clips off the plastic version of this hanger and use them as chip clips

I developed it when I went to college about 13-15 years ago. I was like a typical young kid. Anywhere the clothes would fit, I'd put them. Plus I didn't care about the hangers as long as the clothes hung. I started dating a Korean girl who took it upon herself to go buy me all the same color hangers and organized my closet. Ever since then it just stuck and it's what I've done.

I was just messing with ya man. I wish I was that organized with my clothes. O need to go through all of it and get rid of a bunch of them that I never wear anymore.

Married but I do my own laundry for the past 27 yrs. She does not like the way I do laundry plus she uses the delicate cycle on a lot of her stuff.
I separate whites only , pants sweatshirts together ,socks,underwear together
I use Tide & sometimes fab softener. I forgot towels & sheets together
The only problem we have is that I forget to take stuff out of the dryer. I told her it comes from my single days that it saved time folding & I would pull as needed from dryer.

Glad to see others hate folding and putting away laundry as much as I do... Hate hate hate it..
Wife and I both work full time and have two young girls. We brought in a lady to do laundry for us and have never looked back. Once a week 60 bucks for all four of us. Very reasonable and worth it. I hope to never do laundry again.

I don't sort clothes unless it's my winter bibs. Dryer sheets or fabric softener makes my skin react. I'm extremely compulsive about the lint trap being clean, couple died here years ago from a fire that was said to be causes by lint trap
I rarely allow a lady to do my laundry I'll point out. have found that women will use doing your laundry as a bargaining chip or throw the fact in your face when they want you to do something you really don't want to.
I use cheer free or all free detergent and a little vinegar for Ice fishing clothes to get auger exhaust smell out
