The Knicks are so schizophrenic - you never know. The Celtics at home? You didn't really go against the grain by backing off. This is a weird time for the NBA - you really have to look at the standings every day and look at a team's next few games. This time of year you have to handicap emotion and motivation.

Thats why I like the Knicks. They are playing great ball right now and the Celtics first game back from road trip and no Garnett. No way they could match up small ball vs JR Smith and Melo.

Sometimes you have to stick to your guns. Last week I liked a game a lot and saw that Thunder had an 8% play on the other side (I think he was on OK State -3 or something) I really, really thought about jumping off as I had a grand on it. I ended up sticking with it and I got paid. You have to have te courage of your convictions.

I also won a bunch (posted) on the moneyline with Florida Gulf Coast last weekend - What I didn't realize was that NO 15 seed had EVER made it to the Sweet 16 in history - I was playing them on the fact that they beat Georgetown soundly - and the team that beat the other Big East power Pittsburgh went on to win the round of 32 game to get in. I don't know if I would have dropped $250 on FGC if I had known the stat about the 15 seed - but I liked what I saw...

Another game I didn't play because someone was big on SDS.

I do better when if I'm drinking because I stick to my guns.

He was crushing it last year, he had a hot start and a hot finish. He had a rough ride in late summer but that happens to everyone. Have to be discipline

BP...Told ya bout my bases chase system I discovered last season. 3 months....59-3 record! No BS!! It's a very discipline system with many filters. It only has you play above .500 teams which filters out the shit teams. I'm VERY excited to use it a full season this time around! I really don't see any reason why it won't be successful again. It only works with baseball cuz it's a "series" chase. Basically you're playing a team to win just 1 game in the series to make your 1 unit profit and that's it! If they win Game 1 the chase is over for that series..if not move on to Game 2..etc.

When enough stats are accumulated I'll start a thread.....I'm sure I'll get a boat load of ?'s, but I'll explain the best I can.

Not saying you have to tail me at all....just want you to at least check it out. I was seriously surprised it did what it did......

I think I understand what you mean - the only thing is that you have to have a few bucks in the account - if you are playing a heavy fave that is playing a dog team at around -180 - -250, you may have to be playing -600 or more on that third game to make your unit!(If they lost the first two games) But if you are playing an over .500 team, they should at least get one of the games. Just a bit hairy for a bit. Also - those three losses could be - 18 units. So 59-3 would be equal to +40 or more - still a nice system.

For sure you gotta have a bank roll....it all depends on how much you want your 1 unit to be. Everyone is different. Even wagering to win just $20 per unit should make you a nice chunk of change by seasons end. Like I said...it's a very discipline system. Some days there are no plays etc. And yes...there were multiple times last season where that 3rd game was a heavy fav -180/-200 etc, but in the end it got the $$$!! The 3 losses were very small unit losses, so not much juice had to be laid. Those also came late in the season when teams weren't at their full strength. I ended up cutting off the last 2 weeks of regular season cuz teams were just not putting out legit lineups and most above .500 teams were preparing for the playoffs.

I'll for sure be explaining more in my thread later on.........

I like it , because I understand it. I like it because I don't have to hope the Houston Astros beat up on the Yankees to win $$! LOL

Hahaha.....believe me, when I was experimenting with it in the beginning I found that the shit teams were the one's that lost more, so I cut them all out! The teams that qualify have to fit certain guidelines on their current play vs. the team they are playing in the series.

I've tried doing similar things with football and basketball, but it just doesn't work. The 3 or 4 game series vs the same team is the key to this!! Because most teams look to win the "series" not specific games most of the time.......if a team wins 2/3 series that's a success. Or even avoid getting swept could be a success as well.

Why would you tail anyone? Play ur own picks and if a good capper is on it then that should just add confidence on ur play but never tail anyone blindly :nono:
