I wonder if people would have been so determined to cue diseases if they knew that there'd be so many people who'd rather just risk it. And everyone else.

You'd really be shocked how many patients these days refuse to get vaccinated. I just fucking roll my eyes at them and picture them jerking off to Info Wars all day.

I don't get the flu, why should I take the flu shot? Plus, I know most people get sick the first time they get the shot. I don't want to get sick.

Sure there are possible side effects to everything. And yes some people at times will have some mild effects for a few days but then they are vaccinated against the major flu strains for the year. One day you'll get the full blown flu and then the next year you'll be first in line for the vaccine. I've gotten the shot every year for probably 20 years and never had any side effects.

I'll wait until I think I need it. :0008

Of course I'll get it this year because I opened my mouth.

What's worse are the immunosuppressed patients who refuse the vaccine. I just shake my head.

:mj07::mj07:

GL out there. Hope you don't get it.

I get one because it's mandated for my job. If I don't get one, I have to wear a mask for 7 months. No thanks :Nono:

Otherwise, I would never get a flu shot. I think only chronically I'll people, people who are immunosuppressed, and the elderly should get them.

We have to ask patients on admission if they want the flu and pneumonia shots. I always thought it was hilarious when all the homeless people would want them. They are the epitome of not caring for themselves yet they want the vaccinations when they get hospitalized. Joke.

Most people don't even know what the flu is.

Many people think they have a cold, and it's actually the flu. You don't have to be puking and shitting the bed to have "the flu".

I got my shot Monday.

Even you don't know :mj07:

Think horrible respiratory symptoms and a huge fever. That is the flu.

65 and up or somewhere around there should get it. People die from the flu, all the time. The feeling "I've never gotten the flu" doesn't really apply or have any meaning. The super young and the "older":0002 are the ones who really need it. The other two groups who usually get it are those like SixFive who are mandated, and those who truly get the flu and never want to experience it again.

Selling medical instruments into hospitals I have to every year for credential in by Reptrax and Vendormate. Then again, I haven't been sick with flu in over 7 years since the requirement started, so not complaining when in hospitals all day.

Got one today...Oct 13

My wife has MS and the associated Body Immunity issues...

I would get the flu, be over it in a week..my wife catches it, she's 4-6 weeks sick.

I started taking the flu shot 7 years ago....problem solved, NO flu, 7 years running.

Anyone over 65, its a no brainer....

The flu sucks. You also feel like 20 years older then you actually are and don't want to eat anything. Some of you are being stubborn. I'll be getting mine by the end of the month.
