Just an observation on Christmas Day, thinking back to when I was a kid as I watched the grandkids and dogs having a great time. If I was looking for a global warming discussion I would have posted in the other forum and might have even mentioned it somewhere in the post. :0008

The movie, "A Christmas Story" is set in Northern Indiana. And that is EXACTLY how I remember my childhood weather up here. We had tons of snow, and the city skating rinks were plenty frozen for holiday skating. We haven't had outside skating for years, now.

I dont miss cold weather and snow as I age, but it certainly is much different today up here.

What I find amusing is the ?climate change? advocates have went from global cooling in the 90,s to global warming in 2000,s. After being wrong both times they decided on ?climate change? where they could go either way depending on temps for particular day day with no reflection of norm.

Example: I will stick to threads use Columbus Ohio . The in thing now is warming. They have had unusual warm day on Christmas so it,s warming trend however last year it was snow and 18 degrees temps and snow and not a peep.

This is a handicapping website?my advice would be to follow the numbers/stats and disregard opinions of biased people.
