I want 1oz rounds, I think. Or is it best to get the bars? It probably doesn't matter.

How does the shipping go down? Have you ever had a problem with lost shipments, incomplete orders, etc? Any problems at all with anything?

Recommended dealers?

I can't speak for the USA, but I know here in Canada it is best to get gold at various Pawn Shops. I myself am by no means an expert on buying and selling gold, but one of my old High School buddies is. He told me that when it comes to buying gold, just deal with the Pawn Shops. But again, maybe that advice doesn't apply to Pawn Shops in the USA.

Buy more bitcoin.

Fuck that gold shit.

Gold is so 1940s

So is the US dollar. I am comfortable with my bitcoin holdings but I have been adding regularly.

MJ, my recommendation, if you have an asian friend and who knows about gold, go with them and buy at asian store. Asian store and owner usually can give you good deal and with an Asian friend, they can help to translate if needed but feel more closer to its own culture to give you a better deal. Of course not all but most. I never buy from Pawn store as we all should know they over price. They buy low from you and sell bigger margin to make profit. I stay away from Pawn store in my own opinion. Always buy 24K to get the most value. Thats where Asian store comes in with 24K as they may carry them and where american or canadian jewelry most often time dont carry 24k but 18 or 14k crap gold. Just my opinion and suggestion.

The US Dollar is going to be fine.

I didn't say it wasn't.

I'm just looking to store cash I don't need right now. Might never need it.....but pretty sure there are better places to store money rather than a savings account. :0003

Gold seems like a good spot for the next 6-12 months or so.
