I watch this show sometimes only because it hits home for me in a personal way. No I'm not 600 pounds (Josh can attest to that) - but my 31 year old sister is well on her way to looking like that woman. My sister is a depression eater. She runs to food as her source of comfort- her nights consist of coming home from work and eating supper and then eating snacks all night while sitting on her couch watching tv. She has a great job, not many close friends, and a rotten love life. Some of it is her doing and some of it is from our childhood. We had every junk food imaginable in our house growing up. She just never learned or was taught to control it- I on the other hand did. Now it is completely out of control and she will do absolutely nothing to change it. I have spoken to her about gastric bypass and she flat out says "I'm not giving up my food." Believe me I'm not saying because she is a depression eater that it gives her the right to look like that. She certainly could make much better food choices. I commend the people however that finally take the steps to get healthier and eat better and want to make the changes even if it is going on this show to do it. :0074
