Gulb's has never been to the 3rd round of Wimbledon.

Head to head 1-2 vs Verdasco, all on clay, their first meeting on grass.

U do realize that before last year gulbis didn't take tennis serious....he fucked around with all his daddy's money and was on some sort of drug or alcohol bender.. Past stats from him going back in that time frame are useless

Clay is verdascos better surface

Grass is ernests best

Greg careful with Tomic....he withdrew from doubles yesterday citing a hamstring....who knows?

Gl and go go gulbis

He's got two ideal opponents for sharpening up before he plays murray. Verdasco and then Monaco. Two tough but very doable wins. He must improve from what he showed against Tsonga. Must get to where he was in Florida and against Nadal. If he can do that, he can beat Murray. The old Murray is there, waiting to crack, but it will take exceptionally fine, meaning UE-free, play from Guilbis to bring it out.

Halep run comes to an end. Vesnina goes down. Halep had won two tournaments in a row; Vesnina won at Eastborne. Puchkova gets rolled. Lisicki crushes Vesnina, next up is Stosur.

Even as we speak, Nadal is eating delicious shrimp, and casting a maniacal eye about for nonexistent stray cats.

Beck, heart of a champion. Saves set points, pulls back break to 55. Love this girl. Zako a known cracker, break break break.

I was merely putting out that historical info.
Perhaps a clue to the line.
Past play is not always indicative of what will happen but something to reference.

GL either way.

Beck fights hard, but Zako is a little bit better. Beck can't hold her serve, had no problem getting points off Zako's.
