some real interesting matches tomorrow and wednesday

bartoli/stephens - who knows, stephens is who I thought would win.. but she has gotten behind at some point in all her matches and might be the kiss of death for her against the seemingly resurgent? bartoli ..ive won this tourney with sloane, but i'm probably gonna have to go with bartoli or just pass

li vs aga - who knows, li looks good again but she could pull a jekyll and hide tomorrow.

kviotva will beat flipkens

ferrer/delpo - i remember hammering del po against ferrer last wimbledon and knew it was a loser after the first few games...delpo was a favorite and being hyped...this year, ferrer is the fave and is being hyped, delpo is going thru the draw quietly, ..i havent seen delpo play at all this tourney, but heard he took a spill and wondering if he's injured at all?
ferrer has escaped so far but hasn't looked great...im highly considering going with delpo as a dog here

ferrer/verdasco - no games line yet but verdasco has looked great, and almost bored today against de schepper..andy has owned him but last meeting in 2009..verdasco will give him a match and will steal a set(I think) and will have to take the over

anyone have any thoughts and shed some light on delpo's injuries?

gonna play kvitova in a parlay with something and verdasco/murray over as of now

i did a parlay with the nationals/kvitova x2, being that nats are already up 3 0 at time of posting and b/c i don't know how to account for it in the wimby record, i won't, but the point is i really think kvitova wins tomorrow and is a good parlay option

weds, verdasco/murray over 35.5 -110 x2

been fading stephens for months...hasn't done well this tournament. i'm hitting bartoli fairly hard tomorrow. i think age and experience tell. puig probably should have had her, but she's even younger than stephens, got angry.

ferrer/delpo - i remember hammering del po against ferrer last wimbledon and knew it was a loser after the first few games...delpo was a favorite and being hyped...this year, ferrer is the fave and is being hyped, delpo is going thru the draw quietly, ..i havent seen delpo play at all this tourney, but heard he took a spill and wondering if he's injured at all? ferrer has escaped so far but hasn't looked great...im highly considering going with delpo as a dog here

delpo is damn hard. there's always something with him. contrast, w ferrer, it works out 80% of the time. you would THINK if he were really injured it would have showed up today, but of course he wins in three. for me, it's ferrer or more likely nothing. or 41' under.

murray/verdasco - no games line yet but verdasco has looked great, and almost bored today against de schepper..andy has owned him but last meeting in 2009..verdasco will give him a match and will steal a set(I think) and will have to take the over

thought i detected a slight decline in verdasco's play today, but that may have been de schepper's serving. verd didn't appear as absolutely dominant as when he blew gulbis off the court.

gl with bartoli, i think its the right play, not sure of the delpo/ferrer total, but i reallly want to play delpo but won't b/c ferrer burns me too much by winning...verdasco just looked bored out there today, i don't think it was a decline...he played solid against gulbis but it helped that gulbis sucked that day..he'll have to ramp it up against murray and I think he'll be able to do in at least one spurt to get a set

being forced to watch this li na match and its entertaining

Li na hit an ace, called out, li didnt challenge it..set would have been over so long ago..just mind boggling stubborn and stupid not to challenge

she's played a really stupid match overall. totally playing to a-rad's strengths rather than her own. only when she was on the piont of losing did she change, and then boom, all of a sudden she's winning.

it's bizarre, this obsession with hitting the ball back AT the opponent, when he/she is standing in the corner, rather than across court. watch how often they do that - more often than not. men AND women. it's like a tennis-pro machismo thing.

you can't wrongfoot someone who isn't moving. just watch - they do this ALL the time.

got to give stephens some credit, first set appeared gone and she dragged it back to 50-50. btoli should have broken her two times in the first set, but failed/hasn't yet. stephens certainly appears to have what it takes to be a top 5 player. still think bartoli will prevail today.

that aga/lisicki should be a good one, and whoever wins that barring any injury, will probably win the tourney

if kvitova holds on i see her bearting bartoli or stephens in the other semi

kvit makes so many errors now, i just dont trust her any longer.

li should have won that, she played a dumb match. she should have been more aggressive from the start. that's where her advantage lay - more power. she tried to out a-rad a-rad and wasn't good enough. she should have been cautiously aggressive, worked a-rad from side to side until she had an open court or chance for a short shot. she beat herself as much as anything.
