Ummm....you should not be throwing around the word "clueless".
I mean why do you even watch tennis if you think that was a lousy match?
Some were. I've seen him play a lot better than that. At no point during the match did one ever think Delpo is going to win this. A couple times in the match I thought, is Djokovic actually going to lose this? With disgust. This was all about Djokovic, Delpo was never a threat to win by his own hand.
Betting, mainly. Most tennis matches are boring and one-sided, same as any sport. There's a handful of great matches a year - and more in women's than men's, from what I've seen. The idea that this was a great match is ridiculous. It was simply Djokovic having an off day - OR, because he was sandbagging, to enhance the effect of his sharpness in the final. Like I said, if Djokovic played even an average match, this would have been over in three sets.

Five sets and I don't recall a single incredible shot. Djok can say what he wants, but he has no incentive to speak the real truth. He messed away several easy breaks and forced it to a fifth set. It should have been over in three. And then it should have been over in four. If you want to think that's great tennis, well then enjoy it. Truly great tennis is a very different thing from what was displayed in that match.
We should run a Madjacks-poster tennis tournament. No lie, here would be the details:

* Prize money: I'll throw $1000 into the pool, no lie. Winner take all if u like.

* Kickserv in must-win mode. His ego couldn't handle a loss.
* Snoopol will be there. He'll reserve the jet and come in.

I know I would lose, there are 70 year old grandmas that could beat me.
Oh and as long as the madjack women get same amount of prize money....I am happy.
What's the best men's match of 2013:
Nadal-Gulbis at Indian Wells.
That...was a great match.
How did this match stack up to that one? Nowhere near it for play quality and mental strength. Gulbis pushed Nadal to the very limits of his physical ability and mental endurance. Djok-Delpo wasn't a pimple on that match.
