I watch a bit of tennis, but haven't there been more upsets at this tourney than usual? Sharapova, Ivanovic, Blake, Roddick and I think I'm missing some others as well.
muhr.....there are always tons of "upsets" in men's tennis. The depth in men's tennis is insane. Difference between #300 and #50 is nothing. Difference between #100 and #10 is nothing. Anyone can beat anyone in men's tennis. As for female tennis, the depth is still pretty bad, but way better then 10 years ago. So yes it is surprising on women's side for upsets, but in men's tennis when a seed goes down it usually isn't an upset at all.

btw kick I assumed you were from Montreal b/c of all the GSP love. I've never met him, but he did come down to a big gym in the GTA and everybody had nice things to say about him afterwards. Hell of a fighter too!
Well.........Peng was up a break in the 3rd and then decided it would be a good idea to lose....that sucked! Oh well.....life goes on!
