This is just a personal opinion, I think this whole sexual harassment has gone too far. I don't think twitting or facebooking or whatever social medium is used is the appropriate way to basically accuse a person of what, in the eyes of the law is a very serious offence, especially in America, given the jail times being doled out for such offences.

Something needs to give here...

Formula one have now banned all pit girls, next cheerleaders, NFL cheerleaders, boxing ring girls?

IMO if this continues Women, or at least those pushing this agenda will just implode on themselves and piss off normal women (or at least models etc.).

There has to be a line here....Men are Men, Women are Women, naturally attracted to each other, what ever sex!

I just think this has gotten out of hand and will really just harm everyone in the long run.

I could go on, but stopping.

Just my opinion, and in no way am I am trying to dilute sexual harassment/sexual assault/rape. They are disgusting crimes and those that are found guilty in a court of law could rot in hell as far as i am concerned.

Others may disagreed, but I get your point. Thought the same thing when I saw the FORMULA ONE thing...It's going to put a lot of attractive, young, girls with little skills out of work ....A case of BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR

Why are they needed? They aren't a necessary part of the event. They are there for men to drool over, and fantasize fucking them. That's where the problem lies. When men stop treating women like property, maybe these lawsuits will go away?

With all due respect, there is a difference between "treating women as property" and "drooling". I drool...never would I ever think anyone would be my "property". My drooling is my natural attraction to women. Just like every other animal. I appreciate beauty...

The thing is all the rich men have taken advantage of this and it was mostly hushed up.

These stars have groupies hanging all over them.

They have bedded down thousands of woman and a percentage of them call it rape.

The rest of them say , hey I made with Russel Simmons or whoever.

As a follow-up, should bikinis be banned? Should push up bras, tongs...etc...be banned? Or should males just ignore? Should we have all women covered head to foot so men don't get the wrong impression, should we just submit to sharia law?

No..no..no...

Hollywood needs to cop on....

Just my opinion...no offense meant to anyone............carry on..

I always thought it was ironic when a woman wears a very low cut top that is showing cleavage and half her breasts and she would catch somebody looking and say my eyes are up here. There is a huge difference though between looking and sexual harassment or assault. :nono:

Agree Blitz, but that line has been blurred by all these accusations. Again, as a man aged 43 I am not diminishing any of the claims made, but one has to question why there are no actual police reports. Claiming on twitter that someone "harrassed" you 30 years ago and ruining that person's life is not right, it just is not.Just IMO....

What some of these guys have done is just too weird. Like Louis CK. I don't get it. The raping of course we can all agree on is also wrong.
But telling a cocktail waitress she has to look good in the uniform I think is ok. If you don't want a job where men drool over you then get a job in the cafeteria or something. Just my opinion.

Even if it's true? I think of Bill Cosby. He was raping women for YEARS! He still would be if those women hadn't come forward. But let's go back 30 years. He invites you upstairs for a drink, and you are giddy as hell, so you go. He's been your idol for years.

Once up there, he drugs you, and you wake up a couple hours later with him driving his cock in your ass. You stumble up, pull up your pants, and bolt out of there.

Now, are you going to run to the cops? I mean, who the fuck are you? AND Bill Cosby certainly doesn't need to rape anyone! He's Bill Cosby! So, you shut the fuck up, and go on with your life.

Now, fast forward 30 years. You're now in your 50s and have an established life. You hear in the news that some people have come forward about Cosby. Now, you have the shame of knowing "I'm not the only one", and if you would have said something years ago, maybe some other people would have been spared? I'm sure many still kept mum, but several didn't.

I'm not sorry that they "ruined his life".

The problem with the Formula 1 situation is that the grid girls are PISSED that they are being shown the door. They didn't ask for anything with this, and if you listen to them.. they enjoyed their job and didn't feel degraded. (at least, all the ones that I have seen put out commentary)

Formula 1 got rid of them because of the voice of people not involved.

So now, a bunch of women that were working and having fun and enjoying themselves... are being shown the door because someone not in their world, that they don't know, that likely hasn't ever seen the grid girls.. thinks they were being treated poorly.

So victim blaming.

Its pretty simple do not harass or rape women. Just because it happened 30 years ago does not mean it did not happen.

What about the lives of the actual victim? Where is your thread about them?

Threads like these are a perfect example of why women wait so long to tell their stories.

This times 1000.

Well done, you few, hardy, resolute Feminazis. You have deprived a group of women who, by all first hand accounts from themselves, really enjoyed their jobs, were paid well, got to travel and meet lots of interesting people, and were treated well by their employers....so well in fact some of them have been doing it every year for over 10 years.

Pathetic.

I doubt any woman who shakes her ass for a living will have trouble finding "work".

Yes, of course. But obviously not the point.

This might be a very slippery slope. Where is it going? No woman who is remotely attractive can be seen in public doing anything that takes advantage of the fact she won the genetic lottery?

What a world coming up.

Why do people say "Well, they won't have a hard time finding another job."? We all say it, but maybe a person thinks that JOB is the best ever , or it fits there LIFE perfectly.......We don't say, "Well, she'll have no trouble finding another man.", when a a young woman becomes a widow unexpectedly. Just my opinion I could be wrong.

Who fucking cares? Start a thread about the thousands of workers at Kimberly-Clark who are being shown the door. THAT is a job being lost. People lose jobs every day. Why are these woman a big concern?
