Nino, I'll be lookin forward to your Mex/Arg opinion. Arguably, that was the best match in the 2006 tournament. Maxi Rodriguez goal was phenomenal.

Frankly, the +1 (+108) looks a little heavy.

I usually don't write up a lot, i let my plays talk for me...good or bad ones....but this game i think deserved it...

Chuky, the thing is...I'm gonna be bias to my team...so gonna try and say this impartially....

Mexico always level up with the skill of the team they confront....have seen this a lot...Argentina has beat Mexico in their last games between each other, but never by a wide score...we always find a way to keep it a low scoring game....look at the under in this game (-150)...

Mexico's last game vs. URU, was a disastrous game, not for the 20 misses Franco had (trend topic in Mexico these days, and in twitter worldwide) but cause the lineup was changed a lot, and Aguirre shouldn't start players like Blanco, and let them played almost all game long...they're the perfect change for the last 20min...Juarez (defender) signed up for two yellows cards and didn't play that game, the side he's defending was the one with more attacks, and the goal scored...

Aguirre also bench at halftime Guardado (your most expensive, and dynamic player, and most importantly: your player that was playing the best in the game)....

Anyways, I like to think that the last game is very different from the next game, and so on....

Everything can happen.....I absolutely believe that Aguirre will adjust again his lineup...and without doubt we're gonna give a good battle to the Che's....

So my bet for that day is gonna be Mexico +1....and hope for the best....

In other forum a guy posted in my thread: "miracles happen!!! USA score in the last minute..." which i reply: "there's no miracle here, the last minute also has 60 seconds, and USA played better IMO, do they deserved to win? i dunno, i just know they score in those 60 seconds...and is still playball till the whistle blows"....

the thing is...i don't expect a miracle, Argentina has been eliminated from a lot of world cups in knockout phase...i hope we got the chance to score, even if meant to be in that 60 seconds....

gl my friend....:0074

ps. we don't utter that name in here (M. Rdz)...:mj07:

ps.2 i don't see Ghana stood a chance vs USA....btw....

No, no, it's good. Thx for your thoughts.

Will give it a long look and ponder my selection. My one other thought is that the Argentines came thru a much weaker group than Mex.

So Afr not great, but host nation always tough. The teams in Arg's group almost had no shot. So Korea organized, but talent level not close to Arg.

I have a feeling Mex keeps this close. Do feel like there's some familiarity here (vs an "Americas" opponent).
