taking this now before all the usa haters drive this line up.this czech team is my sleeper to make some noise in this tournament so i obviously like them in this spot vs a young but experinced usa team.no way im a usa hater either.i loved them in the last cup and they proved me right as i remember i had them at +600 or so vs portugal and they came through for me.also had then to advance and to beat mexico.but i dont like them as much this time around .they need a general and i think renya is done.ill be the 1st to say this though,USA will make the final 4 in africa 2010.these young players will be in their prime donavan,beasly ,jonson,onywa. a 21 year old adu,and hopefully a feild general by then.i think donavan may become that #10 after renya retires from the national team probably after this cup..this line does seem low given the usa doubters i think it should be at -155,maybe it will get there by game time.i do like the usa to get a result against an overrated italy but will talk about that when the time comes.dont like the matchup against ghana but we have plenty of time and games to see.the czecks are very expericed and have a couple of superstars that should shine here i expect them to roll here if they take this match seriosly ,b/c their is a chance of that as there is no must win games yet,and keller is capabale of keeping any game close.........goodluck!should be a great tournament ,anybody can win this you usually cant say that ,but with the best team in the tourny coming from a diffrent hemisphere that usually means theyll get knocked off.

when betting this you obviously have to take a team that will advance a few rounds to give yourslf a chance..so some one like totti who i think is one of the best strikers in the world at +6700 is nice and tempting but i think italy is not as strong as usual so can get upset in the 2nd round,hes also coming off an injury and the italians are known for their 1-0 defensive games rules out any italians for me......

J KOLLER (czeck) +8000 im high on the czecks in this tourny so i obviously need to pick one here..koller is my pick this guy is very underrated .hes a aerial sniper ,very tall and athletic for his size..coming off a torn acl but scored 2 goals in 1st game back,looks like he started where he left off,and if my hunch is correct about his team he should play in quite a few games to add to his tally.....$100 to win $8000.

solid team at a nice price ,i think theyre just as good as spain,tunisa will get a result against one of these 2 teams and i think it will be against spain .ukraine was as good as anyone in qualifying ,their is no reason why they cant win this group.

not high on the germans this world cup ,but homefield in soccer is huge ,especialy when playing a team from another continent/the germans will resort to their old ways of roughing people up and will get the calls or should i say no calls from the refs.yellow card infractoins will be verbal warnings and red card infractions will be yellow cards,you may not see it in this game but if it gets to close for comfort you will see it..ecuador qualified for this tourny b/c theyre very hard to beat at home ,they won their home games and a couple of road points and their in,they wont be as good here,,but polands shotty play of late has me thinking no play but a draw maybe in order.

Alot to digest there Moe. I was looking at a lot of props myself. I agree with much of what you have said, and agree 100% on what you said about Germany and it's group. They will run it up on Costa Rica and Ecudor for the reasons you stated.

Ecuador is terrible, i watched them against Columbia at Giants Stadium and they have no chance against Germany, 3-0 at least...and Costa Rica lost to Ukraine second team 4-0, enough said...agree about referees and think we will see a red card or two in those matches...

my friend who was at the game also said the same thing.ecuador was/is terrible.but i dont like what ive seen out of poland either.this ecuadorian team did beat brazil ,argentina and paraguay that has to mean they have some serious home field advantage,but you cant ignore those results.

I like the wager on France making the semi-finals at +220. They have an easy group which they should win, and their second round match looks like being Ukraine or Spain (not easy but it could have been worse). They really should progress to the quarters without too many worries, so the +220 to make the semi's seems OK for mine. I have had a similar investment on France.

....its boggles my mind that the concacaf region gets 4 teams in the world cup ,now thats just stupid with teams like turkey and slovakia that would thump t&t 9 out of 10 times are watching from home.im all for having teams from all over the that are good in their region and get a chance against the big boys but 4 teams from concacaf is ridiculous.they won a playoff against bahrain.while the clear cut champ from oceania region has to play a playoff against the 5th place team from south america is also stuplid.australia should not had to play that playoff game against uraguay.t&t shouldve played uraguay .I JUST hope they fix this crap.Watch t&t hang in their,in soccer anything is possible ,no best out of 7 here baby.one bad call or off day and you may be going home.Any way SWEDEN 4-1.

england to me is always overrated,this is due to them having a great domestic league.but that doesnt mean great national team.
they are in a potentialy tough group.sweden can be a power,and if parguay plays way above themselves(and they usually do at the worldcup)they might not make it out.but if they do they may make a nice run.if they win the group they would play group A runner up,poland? ecuador,costarica,...cakewalk.that brings them to the quaterfinal another potential non power opponent. win here and just like that their in the semis if everything falls into place and it may,but 1st powerhouse team they face they will be out.theyre 2nd teir team to me.
with or with out rooney.this is a big topic in england ,rooneys health but scoring goals is not their problem.controlling the midfield and goaltending is.

-.5 and ML are basically the same bet. A tie is a loss on the ML as it would be on a -.5 bet.
