On the course!
I met him at the SB party at Sunset Station. The rant with Private Petey was hilarious!

You know.......A lot of us are "old" now. This news will be coming more and more as the years go by. It's a sad reality.

Nice guy Eric was! I hope the family will be alright.

me and fletcher had some scuffles but I knew he was a good guy and would help you in any way that he could.

The funniest post I think I have ever read was when Private Petey didnt show up at Sunset Station and then blamed it on Fletchers phone being busy.

That rant about him having 10 lines was just classic.

I will see if I can find that one.

Funnier still was that Fletcher had no idea that Private Petey was kosar.

Question for Jack - did kosar and Fletcher get along ok when they met ?

and why didnt you divulge kosar until years later.

I knew it had to be someone close as PP would give out prizes.

RIP Fletcher

hope the dogs were there to greet you !

"the bunker"
myself,ar182,djv,stevie,chadman,chanman and many others(kosar included) had fun in political before every slight or snark became a blood feud..they were good times and there were lots of laughs.....

sad to hear about djv...he really was a very good-hearted dude...even if we didn`t agree on much, grudges were not held.....that`s rare nowadays...

Late 2001, my girlfriend's brother told me to "check out this site madjacksports and look for the posters Fletcher and Raymond". One of the OGs for sure.

I've known Eric for over 15 years. Though I have never met him in person, I find him to be honest and genuine. We have lost a great friend.

He always had kind words in regards to my daughter's health condition. I will surely miss him.

Rest in peace, my friend.

I too met him at the MJ SB Party at Sunset Station. Along with Bahama Mama and others.

Although he lived a few streets over I never really knew him.

Prayers to Geri (sp)

Saddened to read this news, I have never met anyone on this site face to face, still feel like many are a friend. I talked with Eric on the phone several times. He was a helper, he cared about his clients printing positive results.

Jumped on Facebook his last post was

here is a post from him on FB:

Got to be kidding me. Up at 3:18 leg killing me. This sucks! I am always pretty up type person. This is wearing on me. Who else is up besides me ? I do wish all my friends a good day though. A little through back from my playing days.

The throw back was a photo of a baseball field.

RIP

Below is part of an email from Eric the Saturday before Valentines Day.

Better have all 3 of those gifts ready for Sun u have 3 ladies to buy for, man that is rough. Enjoy my friend loved the fb pic of both them in their dresses in front of a very nice piano the other day. U r blessed they r cute. keep them that age dad.

My response...

Hi, Eric.

I read all your Facebook entries. I might interpret things wrong, but were you involved in a car accident recently? If it is true, then I am sorry that it happened because you don't deserve that. I was hit by a drunk driver when I was 5 years old. My right femur was broken, and I was in a coma for three days. All is well now. I am pretty healthy, and I hope to keep it that way for my kids sake.

Life is very precious. We are reminded of this when we experience a death in our family or circle of friends. A co-worker that I worked with at this new school passed away last Tuesday. It was a very sad story. His wife was ill. He was forced to retire early, which was April of last year, to stay home and tend to her. She passed away only a few months after his retirement. He came back to sub at our school. Then they discovered a tumor in his brain. It went down so fast from that point. It was only a couple of months. There was nothing doctors can do. He was such a good man. It was just not fair at all. He did not get to enjoy life after retirement from teaching. I am glad Fred is able to enjoy his time with his wife, family, and the horses. I have three more years left after this school year before I can officially retire from teaching. My wish is to stay healthy so I can hang around and watch my two girls grow.

Take care my friend. Thanks for listening. Have a great Valentine!

Eric's last email to me on Valentines Day.

yes T was about a month ago now, thanks for the kind words and U have a long time to go with those cuties growing up. Never worry pass today.
