"the bunker"
another instance of a striker being stupid.....

does it ever end?...does something automatically snap in someone`s brain when they take up mma?

That is funny i heard right out of Bennets mouth that he knocked out Vlad that day, if it is the same day he is talking about. I guess he was full of shit.

I think being off the roids fighting in the US in killing Shogun.

his decline preceded his arrival in the ufc. he looked good for one stretch which included wins over quinton, overeem, arona and rogerio, but he hasn't looked as good since most notably standing and i don't think he's looked as big since either. if he quit using i'd guess it was around that time. he only has 2 losses since that run, but he's looked lacklustre. his fight with nakamura comes to mind in particular, he couldn't even handle nakamura's standup.

That's funny the gun @ +180....Liddell is getting fat, and a couple more shots like he took versus Evans and he will become brain damaged goods....
Chucky ought to get out of this sport, like NOW!

Shogun hasn't been dominating but with that line, I'll take him against the pudge

I'm afraid the Iceman might look a lot like Wandy did against Rampage.

if shogun is well on the decline

shit chuck is almost in the coffin

he's no where near as sharp as in second horn and randy fights

I'm not worried about Shogun gassing. He just came off of major knee surgery and it was his first fight. If anything he could have just had an adrenaline dump. The fight versus Forrest shouldn't count against him as far as stamina goes, he went in to that fight with bad knees and didn't do any cardio leading up to it.

The steroids is always something we have to consider with Pride fighters but it has nothing to do with his stamina. He could use EPO for that if he wants and they can't detect it. Also if someone really wants to be on something they can. Growth won't help him with power but leading up to the fight would help him recover fully from hard training. The reason you wouldn't want to be on growth really close to the fight is because it makes you retain water and might make it more difficult for a fighter to make weight. IGF LR3 would be better going into a fight and it's totally undetectable. It wouldn't give someone the explosiveness roids do but it would help and the recovery in between rounds would be very very high. We could get into SARMS as well but it doesn't really matter.

I kind of wish that the UFC could've gave him 2 feeders in his first 2 fights so he could go through the adjustment of 5minutes rounds. The cage is nothing to me, he's fought in the cage before.

I'd be concerned about his conditioning if he were fighting someone who's aggressive or someone who wears their opponents down. However, conditioning isn't huge when fighting Chuck, gameplanning is though. I do think Shogun's conditioning is due to the injuries in fight #1 and ring rust in fight #2.

Will we see a guy come out will ballz of flury for 15 minutes? I hope so, but most likely not, but I do think we'll see a HUGE difference in cardio.
