From being involved in the business a while back, I got to work with a lot of the old-time wrestlers, mostly from the old AWA. I still keep in touch with Barron von Raschke. He stops in my bar whenever he is traveling through town. Had Mad Dog Vachon over at my house for a barbeque a couple of years ago when he was in town. He now lives in Nebraska. Very nice person. Has trouble getting around since he lost a leg in an accident.
I also have kept in touch with Strongman Ken Patera. We promoted several events together. Another one is Jumpin' Jim Brunzell. He stops down at the bar once in a while.
