Deezy banned 53 minutes for even suggesting that anything comes close to Chipwich:nono: :nono:

Nothing compares to the Chipwich...nothing.

In fact I am increasing the ban to 2 hours.

Gmroz........can only get the "Crispy Crunch" Blizzard in :canada1

Sorry Kick. I'm guessing the Chipwich is a staple of GSPs diet when he's training for a fight? :mj07:

Seriously though, if you haven't tried a Choco-Taco its worth it man. It may not be as good as the chipwich but it sure is close!

If it is then I haven't seen em around here. Then again I've only been out here a couple of years.

Oh, well I think they may be discontinued now, so that may be the problem. I loved them when I was a kid. I distinctly remember going to Dodger games and getting them there. Watch Piazza jack one out of the yard while eating a Cool-a-coo... not too shabby.

Deezy........I have had a "Choco Taco" and they are good. But comparing them to a Chipwich is like comparing GSP to Nick Diaz:D

Sorry fellas, I didn't mean to start a Cool-a-Coo controversy. :0corn The funny thing is I looked on Google and I can't find a single image of one? They're as elusive as the Yeti. They were frigging delicious though. :0074

Cool a coos yeah baby! Up there on my list too. :00hour

HAHA... thanks for proving I'm not crazy. At least on the Cool-a-Coo issue, that is. I see you're from Ventura. That explains why you are familiar with the delicious treat. :0074

Damnit, now I want one!! I'm freakin starving now! Tell me where I can find one out here if either of you find out.

I don't live in CA anymore so I can't help ya there. I really think they no longer exist though.

I just found this post on a forum:

Cool-a-Coos were an ice cream sandwich made with two enormous oatmeal cookies, vanilla ice cream and dipped in chocolate. They were part of every Dodger fan's youth. When NewsCorp bought the Dodgers in the late 90's, they immediately did some stupid moves (traded Mike Piazza, signed Kevin Brown to a ridiculous contract, attempted to phase out the grilled Dodger dog--a sacrilege) and one of them was to replace the Cool-a-Coo with a somewhat inferior product, the It's It. May be a coincidence, but since the Dodgers were their biggest customer, they soon went out of business.

If you can make them to your man's satisfaction, PLEASE post your recipe. Cool-a-Coo's, grilled Dodger Dogs and Vin Scully are all warm parts of my youth growing up in SoCal.

So apparently you can only get them at Dodger Stadium pre-1990's. :mj07:
