here we go with your delusions once again...you just can't seem to accept the fact you lost last year and it ain't looking good for Bobbie SquarePants this year either.

The funny story is how I haven't heard any chirping from your pompous ass this season.

Enjoy being my bitch for another season.

On the course!
I would think since you came home for the weekend, you would spend some time with the folks, instead of geeking out on the computer.

I think most would tend to agree that S-Love and Worm have absolutely NOTHING positive to offer this forum. I really have never had an encounter with either of them but I do read their posts for a good laugher or a good FADE.

Save your money boys, gambling isn't for you....

NICK, RAYMONDS METHOD OF HANDICAPPING OR PICKING GAMES IS SIMILAR TO HANKS. DO YOU CONSIDER RAYMOND, THE GUY WITH THE 2ND LARGEST FOLLOWING HERE, NEXT TO SEX APE, A SQUARE? THANKS.

NOLLA, THINK ABOUT CHANGING YOUR NAME TO ANGRYWHITEMAN :cursin:

Taoist is a perfect example of a basher that never puts his money where his unaccredited mouth is.....My overall handicapping record for the 2 years I have been here would crush Nolan Dalla, Nick Douglas , you, etc----also Nolan I am the Spelling Police, and you should be arrested for a felony....

Since when does the size of a poster's following have anything to do with if he is a "square" or not. Raymond gets the hits he does via word of mouth etc, I'm not sure if that translates over into being a sharp or not.

As far as Nick's post, it was really simply an observation he made. I'm not sure what the big deal is. On the otherhand, i think that sometimes people get on nick because to me the tone of a lot of his posts (to me anyways) is not one of a person sharing info for the bettor of the group. Most of nick's posts come off with an air of him being the all-knowing throwing us bottom scrapers a scrap or two. In the context of tonight's post, for example, it read to me like the following (blah blah blah this guy is such a huge square, look at the outdated and moronic way he caps games, and i would know because i am so successful at it so i therefore have a right to pick on his caveman handicapping methods". I guess my question is does nick really type his pieces with that tone of arrogance, or is it just misinterpreting it in text. I guarantee you there are people on this board who contribute who will agree that a lot of nick's posts have that condescending tone to them.

And before you call me out for my contributions to the forum Nolan, i don't pick games until college bball and occasional fball and it's only tar heel picks, because i only feel comforatble picking what i know best. And the above was merely my opinion on the whole matter, so take it for what it's worth.

THE FOLLOWING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. IM TALKING ABOUT THE METHOD. JUST HAPPEN TO MENTION IT. MOST OF THE TIME, RAY BACKS UP BIG PLAYS WITH TRENDS AND ATS TRENDS, LIKE HANK. NO BASHING RAY HERE, JUST WANT TO HEAR NICKS OPINION OF RAYS STYLE OF PICKING GAMES. WILL THAT OPEN PANDORA'S BOX OR SOMETHING?

WELL-that being said, I will say that there are people on this site that are not willing to jump on someone like you Nolan or others like you.

You obviously can not take it when someone calls you out. Keep in mind I read your posts (some) and sometimes get some info from them.
I personally do not believe why anyone would even think you are a average handicapper let alone one that really gives useful info week in week out. I am not here to blast you-enough people do that to the WORM-BUT, I believe at some point somewhere you conned a lot of people in your life into believing you know things about gambling, Vegas, handicapping etc.
I for one think you are a poor to mediocre at best capper and writer. I will always defend your right to be one too.

Plain and simply-people here follow you-people here read your drek-I for one should tell you if that is the case you better be able to handle it when you put yourself out there like you do.

This is probably better in the general forum but...

Talk about spelling and grammatical errors :142lmao:

I found it ballsy for Nick Douglas to call Hammerin Hank a HUGE SQUARE when maybe Nick shouldn't be throwing stones in glass houses based on his records.

The point is that if you call Nick out for being hypocritical for calling someone else a square, you're being just as hypocritical cracking on his records as your record of ineptitude on this (or any) forum is unparallelled (and that includes the dime and a dream).

S-Love was called out by several posters when he bashed Hellah and Mr.Hockey after bad days regarding the fact that it's easy to bash other players when you don't post any plays yourself. It's at that time that he pointed to the NCAA Contest of 2003 when we would first be treated to his handicapping acumen.

The results were typical and profitable, as the mouth roared out to a 10-19-1 record through 6 weeks. This caused me much glee and I embarrassingly was a little too giddy in my evaluation of his handicapping. This caused S-Love to say that he was closer to last place (and cash) than I was and that he was now shooting for last place. He did that in these threads here and here .

At that point, when he started fading himself he went 4-1, 4-1 and then 5-0. So, he no longer was in the running for last place and his contest record was 23-21-1, but his record of handicapping in that contest was 12-32-1. At that point, it became hard to distinguish whether he was going for last or first, and he wouldn't answer the question, so I stopped tracking him. He's now 20-25 in this year's contest.

The point of this post isn't to bash the basher as I've already done that before, the point is to let Nolan and Nick know that this schmuck isn't worth their time. He's a hack who can't handicap, and enjoys when other notable members lose. It says more about him than it does about you.

And, Susie, if you want to know my record, it's in the handicapping forums - You should try them out sometime

...sorry psycho, but calling you out on your fabricated record would not be considered bashing by most of the people in this forum. As for putting my money where my mouth is, you can check bestbettor for my record or you can check my posts in the CFB forum.... Unlike you, I post an honest record...and a winning one, biatch! (I noticed a welcome lull in your posts after that excellent first week when you challenged me.... Oh, by the way, I didn't notice your name in the CFB contest.... STFU, wormy!!! :142lmao: :sadwave:

lol- Nice call, Wilson. Hey, Nolan is what he is. He doesn't pay off losing bets, has tons of non-posted winners and employed lots of creative accounting when tallying up his record when he had his page. But that's all water under the bridge.

On a lighter note (ever thought you would hear me say that), can someone define "square" and "sharp". When I was betting, I often heard those terms but never knew exactly what they meant.

eddie my friend,

we used the word "square" in the 60's & 70's in reference to people who weren't hip to what was happening. similar to how we are now (lol).

Thank you my suntanned friend. I am well aware the definition of the term "square" in terms of being a hip/cool person. In the 70's I was very hip. Then, one day, in the mid-90's I was with a bunch of people from Cincinnati and we went to the Breeders Cup in Toronto.

After having my clock cleaned at the track, our group went out for dinner that night in the Theatre District. I was, or so I thought, dressed smartly in my casually elegant dress shirt and blue jeans. However, much to my dismay, when our little group was trolling from establishment to establishment on the streets of Toronto, I noticed that we were the only rubes wearing jeans.

Everybody was dressed in black. I remember thinking to myself, "when did I become a nerd." How right you are about the passage from hipdom to squaredom. Kinda just happened with age. I guess I'm just lucky that I've retained my phenomenal looks, amassed a quite sizable fortune, and am able to attract women who look like Jessica Simpson with the brains of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Or is it women who look like Ruth Bader Ginsburg with the brains of Jessica Simpson? Anyway, in betting parlance, what is a square v. sharp?
