I have New England left fellas and wouldn't blink an eye to take the Champs this week.

Looking down the road, I'd like to save the Pats for the Fins in Foxboro but these 2 teams play each other tough so might as well use it now against the woeful Jets

Good luck fellas and Surviving we shall!

I was in a nationwide pool that started out with 13000 hopefuls and was down to 1200 or so.. I foolishly took Oakland and paid the price. My only advice to you now is don't leave any good teams on the board like I did. I hadn't used Atlanta,Indy,Pitt, Carolina,Tampa. Good Luck and I hope the ball bounces your way.

Good advice BlueLight

There are only 5 weeks left for the regular season and I reckon if we don't get the strong teams out of our pockets now then we will never have a chance

I still have Seattle, Denver, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh and Jacksonville left. I can guarantee you that most if not all of them will be utlilized in the upcoming weeks!

Good luck!

My last five plays are setting up like this -

Week 13 - Indy vs. Tenn
Week 14 - Cincy vs. Cleveland
Week 15 - Jax vs. SF
Week 16 - STL vs. SF
Week 17 - Pitt vs. Det

I feel pretty good for the next two weeks. Jax even w/o leftwich should still easily beat a horrible SF team. STL is so up and down that I may waver a bit on that pick but I like where I stand right now. Good luck to all still alive!

If I was in your boat, I'd lean toward Carolina. Although they have looked kinda bad the last 2 weeks on the road, I think getting back home will do wonders for them and I do think they are a better team than Atlanta. I try to avoid road teams if at all possible thus most are out (I think Jax loses to Cleveland). Chicago would be tough to take, although I think they win, due to Favre and rivalry factor. Miami actually is probably a good play.

Good luck in whichever way you go.

Mine is shaping up very similar to this ... my biggest problem will be week 15 cause I already used Jacksonville so I plan on using Miami over NY Jets or Oakland over Cleveland or Carolina over New Orleans. So far, I am leaning Carolina or Oakland. Otherwise, I plan on using the exact other games. Good Luck!

Hard to include the Carolina game as a lean considering they lost at home earlier to NO, huh? That's still a game I can't figure out. I'd feel pretty good about taking Miami in Week 15 in your spot.

Looking forward to kicking back and seeing Indy roll this week....and pulling for the Jets and Raiders to somehow pull off an upset!

Beware of Pitt being used in Week 17. If they have nothing to play for they will sit rothelisberger and ward

I've thought about that but I think the Steelers will still be playing for something then. That's always a tough call in Week 17 for a Survivor Pool though...

If the Jets somehow pull out an upset this week, I will go out with no regret

Not many other choices on the board so here's hoping we"ll converge again for Week 14

Good luck fellas!

Yes congrats on those who survived.

New England got the job done fellas. It was a pretty sloppy win and the Jets tried their best but I'll take it any day

On to Week 14.

Nobody was eliminated in my pools :( Still 41 left with $18K for last man standing. Winner(s) take all or split the pot, no tiebreaker

Yes, this was one of the tougher looking weeks and I was happy to have Indy left (NE would have also been good). I was very disappointed at the lack of upsets as I was hoping this week got rid of some people. Baltimore pulling their game out hurt. I am also positive I will be using Cincinnati this week.

Bringing this to the front fellas

New England got the job done for me on Sunday, very sloppy win and you gotta give credit to Herm's bunch for trying their best but I'll take that any day.

On to Week 14

I have 3 candidates in my mind so far. These are teams i have not taken and i guess time to use 'em now since the season is winding down LOL...

Tennessee at home against Houston (Texans stink, plain and simple)

Seattle at home against San Francisco (Alex Smith on the road!)

Denver at home against Baltimore (Must-win for the Broncos)

4 more weeks to go fellas! This one is going down to the wire no doubt about that.

Thanks and Surviving we shall!

Here's a recap of teams I have chosen and can't take again.

I am either going with Seattle or ATL. Seattle is trying to wrap up homefield and ATL has lost 2 straight at home. I think all the traveling for NO is starting to takes it toll on them.

I have already used Tenn and Denver. I am staying away from Oakland, they have quit on this season, edwards at least gets his team to play.

GB over Detroit seems pretty solid. Dome team on the road, plus it could be favre's last game on national TV

Unless something happens to a seattle player, I am taking them. Here is why...
1) starters only played half a game, so they should be rested
2) last game with SF was close, I do not think they will let them hang around again
3) playing for home field advantage is a good motivator, especially or a team that has not played all that well on the road, but plays great at home
4) SF is in the running for Bush, I don't think they want another win

Everyone in our pool has used Cincy and Indy. I think a lot of people will be on SD and ATL this week, so I am hoping for an upset. Don't think it will happen, but you can always hope...

Good luck to everyone 4 weeks left!!!
