Armed with Gore's utility bills for the last two years, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research charged Monday that the gas and electric bills for the former vice president's 20-room home and pool house devoured nearly 221,000 kilowatt-hours in 2006, more than 20 times the national average of 10,656 kilowatt-hours.
:scared :scared
"If this were any other person with $30,000-a-year in utility bills, I wouldn't care," says the Center's 27-year-old president, Drew Johnson. "But he tells other people how to live and he's not following his own rules."
Scoffed a former Gore adviser in response: "I think what you're seeing here is the last gasp of the global warming skeptics. They've completely lost the debate on the issue so now they're just attacking their most effective opponent."
Story continues belowAdvertisement
Kalee Kreider, a spokesperson for the Gores, did not dispute the Center's figures, taken as they were from public records. But she pointed out that both Al and Tipper Gore work out of their home and she argued that "the bottom line is that every family has a different carbon footprint. And what Vice President Gore has asked is for families to calculate that footprint and take steps to reduce and offset it."

Al Gore may be able to give you some advice Dogs.

I think he would tell you to turn off the lights when you leave the room.

Gas (heat only) - $50; this runs $12 for all months where heat is off. My guess is that we spend about $600 per year.
Electric - $125
Trash/Recycling (no glass - must take this to center) - covered under property tax I think. I've never seen a bill for this.
Cable + Internet - $105
Water/Sewage - $40

Power of prayer

A female CNN journalist heard about a very old Jewish man who had been
going to the Western Wall to pray, twice a day, every day, for a long,
long time.

So she went to check it out. She went to the Western Wall and there he
was walking slowly up to the holy site.

She watched him pray and after about 45 minutes, when he turned to
leave, using a cane in a very slow fashion , she approached him for an
interview.

"Pardon me Sir, I'm Rebecca Smith from CNN, What's your name?

"Maury Fishbein" he replied.

"Sir, how long have you been coming to the Western Wall and praying?"

"For about 60 years."

"60 years! That's amazing! What do you pray for?"

"I pray for peace between the Christians, Jews and the Muslims. I pray
for all the wars and hatred to stop, I pray for all our children to grow
up safely as responsible adults, and to love their fellow man."

"How do you feel after doing this for 60 years?"

"Like I'm talking to a fuk' wall."

Power of prayer - Muslim Version

A female CNN journalist heard about a very old Muslim man who had been
going to the Western Wall to pray, five times a day, every day, for a long,

"Tapir Capir Henzing Sponge" he replied.

"Sir, how long have you been coming to the Western Wall and praying?"

"For about 60 years."

"60 years! That's amazing! What do you pray for?"

"I pray for death to all zionist pigs. May they
rot in hell and eternity. I pray for death to all Americans. I pray for more 911's x 10
I pray the Iman will return in my lifetime.

I pray for war. I pray for cutting off heads of zionist pigs.

I pray for all our children to grow
up to strap on the dynamite belts and
obtain 50 virgins.

"How do you feel after doing this for 60 years?"

I feel empty.

Interesting--appears Dawg has best rates so far --

Can't bitch about mine--however my house probably smaller than most--less than 2000 square ft.
