I commend Scott for his rain water collection system. Unlike Kosar, who clearly has something against mother nature, I appreciate people who show a little effort towards conservation.

I had a pet turtle as a kid and ...believe it or not ....it ran way.

Get off me, bitch. I was using cisterns when you were just a sparkle in your dads eyes.

Given our razor-thin (hyphen?) difference in age, I find this claim to be outrageous. ....Unless, well ....nevermind.

The hyphen is used correctly in your sentence. Although you might want to check with the Mage just to make sure.

Ok, fine. It was my parents that were enjoying the shit out of the cisterns while you and I were both sparkles. You wanna start splitting hairs? Is that your deal now? You wanna start questioning my devotion to Mother Earth?

Not sure about the hyphen in the above case. I think I would have gone with it like you did. Just looks right. Maybe that ascended testicle guy can come back and let us know what's proper.

I think the question is about her dedication to you.

lol- i'm not saying i've never done the 'it's not my baby' dance, it's just never been on Maury Povich.

Not sure what it has to do with Mother Earth, but these threads never stay on topic anyways.

Kosar - if I may be so bold - I think Dawgball is implying that you had sexual intercourse with Mother Nature (perhaps even a 'date-rape' (hyphen?) scenario). She then had a baby, but to your reilief this baby was not yours.

What would a bastard child of Koasr and Mother Nature look like?

That's a cogent explanation and a legitimate question.

Not to nit-pick(hyphen?), but it wouldn't really be a bastard child if I had sex with Mother Nature. I ain't going anywhere and as far as i'm concerned, Mother Nature and myself are married.

Our baby would probably look like a Sponge/Gardenweasel hybrid, just so you know.

Anybody here know what a cistern is? I used to collect water like that on a smaller scale to put in with my snapping turtle (his name was Snappy) and to feed my earthworms. Animals do better without the fluoride that's in drinking water.

my bills (same every month with budget billing; Jack since your bills are so high, you should check into that):

'Light' Bill : $198
Gas: $28 (wife freezes my moon1 off during the winter!)
Cell Phones (converted land line to cell phone last year and kept the same number): $103
Cable/Cable modem: $97

Cistern was we had as well as my grandparents where I grew up in Missouri.
Thats all that was available to country bumpkins.

Every other year or so when dry spell came--we have to clean it out--not unusual to find dead birds-frogs ect and always about 3 inches of slime at bottom. In fact if water level every got down to 3 feet or so--you have to have water hauled in to fill cistern so level wouldn't get down to the nasty shit. Amazing we never got deathly sick.

:scared :scared so, my house would be $7800 a month? :wtf:

Well, maybe. But I live near downtown. 2600 sq/ft doesn't exist. Unless it is the penthouse of some condo building.

But for me, a tour of my apartment basically consists of standing in one spot, and then turning around.
