My point seems to be missing you. If you talk shit and touch another man, you probably shouldn't completely let your guard down.
taoist - legal question: since the guy laid his hand on Blount outside of the game context, would he not have some kind of "self-defense" stance (no matter how much BS it is)?
Do you guys really think the punishment would be harsher if the races would be switched? that's insane.
Now maybe Jesse shows his head, but I don't think the punishment would be any different.

From what I saw I don't think that simply laying his hand on his shoulder would be enough to justify "self-defense," as he made no threatening gesture...at least not enough to justify jacking him up. I should probably watch it again before I say that, but that's what I remember. I'm sure that if he was prosecuted he would claim that he was threatened, hence self-defense, but I doubt any jury would buy that after watching the tape. :shrug:

He TOUCHED him! He didn't push him......didn't throw something at him......and damned sure didn't punch him! Again. You are justifying.
You can't keep saying I am missing your point, when your point is to, even in the smallest way, justify this guys actions.
The guy hit the other guy 'cause he was pissed, and can't hold his temper, not because the other guy "touched" him.
