I have been working out consistently for about a year. I just kept getting bigger, and finally, at 6'4" 255lbs, I decided to do something about it.
Current Status:
HT - 6'4"
WT - 225lbs
Diet: Pescatarian (fish and veggies)
Exercise: 3x a week
My routines:
-Exercise: I run or get on the elliptical for 30 minutes. Lifting is limited, but I do it after my cardio work.
-Breakfast: Oatmeal or yogurt with oats and fruit. Coffee.
-Lunch: Veggie burgers, veggie pizza, fish, or veggie sub. Fruit. Trail mix (nuts and raisins only).
-Dinner: Omelets, black bean nachos, stir fry, shrimp, potato based dishes (Indian), veggie pizza.
-Snacks: Cheese, peanuts, tortilla chips/salsa
I am doing a lot of things right. I eat mostly natural foods and rarely drink pop. Without question, my vice is drinking. On average, I drink a bottle of wine or 4 beers a night. That is a lot of calories, and it is what it is. I need to mix in some dry days, and I will probably start seeing more progress. The other issue is that I eat a lot of cheese. I love the stuff and eat more than I need to.
I don't have a specific goal in mind. I want to stay the course I have been on for the last year.
Good luck to everyone trying to improve their health.
