I went into yesterday thinking I've finally got my game going in the right direction. Really felt good about my driving and even chipping. We start on the back nine, I fire off a sweet ass FIFTY-FUCKING-THREE. Worst nine of the year. I wanted to puke. Came back on the other nine to put up a 43, but I still wanted to sit in the garage with the engine on and think about what I did.

I've never played this badly. Never. And the shanks are killing me. Beautiful drive, 110 to the green, perfect lie in the middle of the fairway, thinking birdie and shanked off to the right into the woods resulting in a double bogey.
