    Who owns an "Air card"

    I was told last night that one could buy an "air card" for the laptop. Supposedly, It is a PCMCIA card that allows you to access the internet anywhere there is a signal, just like a cell phone. I'm just starting the investigative process, but any help would be appreciated.
