Other countries don?t prescribe so much medicine for depression, it?s the LIBERAL PSYCHIATRISTS THAT HAVE CAUSED Mass shooters not guns, it?s mental illness
Name one mass shooter that wasn?t on meds for depression?
I'll admit, I do not know the medical history of every mass murderer in the US nor do I know if/how they were treated.
It does seem what you are saying is other countries don't have mental illness? Or, are you saying it's treated differently in other countries and a side effect of the medication used here in the US is mass murder?
Whichever your stance, it's incorrect. Mental illness exists in other countries, those affected don't have access to guns to carry out said mass killings. Do the mental ill in other countries sit around wishing they could get their hands on a semi automatic weapon to kill a bunch of kids in a school? I honestly don't know the answer to that, what I do know is they don't have access to those weapons and as such have not slaughtered innocent kids.
If you feel it's a side effect of the medication you are an idiot, but in either case if you limit the access to those weapons you solve the problem. I'm shocked that someone, even like you, doesn't want to solve the problem because it makes you feel like too much of a man to tote around a gun. Think about that.
You simply don't care innocent people are getting gunned down so you can feel like more of a man. In what reality does that make sense.
Comedian John Caparulo had a great thought about people who get bit by sharks. While his friends who all like the ocean gave him shit about .0000001% of people going in the ocean getting bit by sharks he replied that that .0000001% of people all had one thing in common, they were in the ocean. If I stay out of the ocean I remove all chance of getting bit by a shark.
In other words, whatever you (wrongly) think the cause of the shootings is, if you remove the guns we have no more shootings. It's amazingly simple, yet people like you live to make it so difficult, for the rest of us.
One of the people killed at the Tree of Life I knew indirectly, a friend of a friend, so to speak. If you think your right to own a gun is more important the her right to live then we really do have nothing further to discuss and you can go on hiding behind your silence.
I don't carry a bible, but I'll steal a line from it in this case, my hope is you reap what you sow.
