On the course!
You posted 100,000 deaths by May 20th. You must have some concerns.

Yes. I'm concerned. I'm more concerned about this ship sinking. We have zero leadership, zero idea when this will be under control, and zero confidence in this bullshit testing our country cant seem to get going.

If half the country's population has already had this shit, shouldn't we know?

I'm not going to get political. My concerns are the numbers going up for the state's that are starting to open up. Maybe too early.
The governor's of these states are falling to political pressure. What will be their stance in a few weeks when their numbers spike.
I hope this doesn't happen but the facts are there.

That's my fear. If that happens and there's a good chance it will. Then what? Shutting down again takes us right back to where we were beginning of March, but worse. They will just have to go with it at that point. Hoping for the best.

We should have never shut down anything in the first place. This shit has been here long before they announced anything.... Do we stop anything for cancer? When have we ever raced to find a cure for any cancer? (They have it... for a few).... c?mon on now the beans are smelling burnt now
Many of us got bent over and fucked really good for some greedy hands behind the scenes you?ll never hear about unless you search for it... what a crock of shit this country is... the world is becoming a crock of shit.... everything is based off of what the bullshit news tells you..... and dam you if you don?t listen and obey.... FUCK YOU

But worse is my concern also. The facts and numbers show it .

This is a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation for each state....Thing is each state is different....In Maine we are reopening, if numbers spike we will shut down again....We've lost 64 people to Corona now, yet we have just found out some may have been coded as Corona and the ME may find out a different result...

Numbers will tell the story in the end, right or wrong....

In my past life my Hotel Controller always told me each month when I tried to explain liquor/beer cost, numbers don't lie....

The moral, pay attention to the numbers and adjust....

Corona is no different than the flu, cancer, OD'S ect....React/adjust to the numbers and move on....:0008

Do the numbers of 25% unemployment concern anyone?

Actually it's 14.7% according to the job numbers today. The stock market was up 400 points today partly on the fact that investors feel it has bottomed out and was higher than expectations.

I was playing the look ahead game.

I'll still take 80,000 dead over 30,000,000 out of work.

Actually it's 23 million and 18 million of those are temporary layoffs. The numbers will shrink incredibly when things start to reopen which is happening now hence the jump in the stock market today.

Not this Morris character. He?s apparently a tree hugger who thinks it?s realistic to save every life. Trust me, more people will die in the long run from the unemployment affect than the virus itself. We aren?t just talking about 30mil unemployed. Let?s think about the children they have who are now instantly put behind at a disadvantage.

Morris, you can call it a paycheck all you want and gloss over that. But economics matter. Economics are the core to health, happiness, prosperity, and why flourishing countries are strong. If you think we should just think with emotions and trying to save everyone at the expense of 30mil+ being unemployed, then you?re part of the problem, not the solution.

Are you clueless?!? It?s OVER 30million, and yes, a decent chunk is furloughed....for now! A lot of those numbers are going to spike as business realize they have to go under. It?s a damn domino affect. Secondly, if you think the stock market is your backing, where the hell have you been all year? Every expert disagrees with you!

My company laid off 65% of our staff and those of us who are left took pay cuts. Guess what? The country reopening isn?t going to change anything for us. It?s going to take several months, if not years to recover. Do you know how many businesses are in the same situation, if not worse? And you just assume it?s ?back to normal? for those like us, once things reopen?! OOOF, someone get me a drink lol
